I'd have to say, even though I'm not a big chocolate eater, that it would be Fazer's milk chocolate with rasberry youghurt filling.

Now you've got me craving.... :). My favourite Finnish chocolate is the Fazer chocolate, the one with the blue wrapping. Love it. ❤

Finnish Goodio chocolates are amazing. However, they are more expensive than the Fazer chocolates you tried and not all stores sell them. There is a store locator on Goodio's website if you want to try them out. I was a bit hesitant to buy them at first because the postcard sized packages cost around 6e. After buying one postcard sized package, however, I found out that most flavours are also available as smaller bars that cost around 3.5e which are more convenient when you don't know which flavours you're going to like.

Toni Ruottu thanks! I can’t wait to try it out 😊

Kismet is so good and there's many different flavors, like the Original one, Kismet Omar (what you had), Kismet Marianne, Kismet Fazerina and Kismet Licorice. In my opinion the original is the best. It's simple and so yummy with coffee! What comes to Tupla, my favorite is that quite rare "roasted corn" edition. Fazer's "Blue" chocolate really is the pride & joy of Finnish chocolates, but it's even better in those 200g slab forms than in those little 5-piece bars. Pieces in slabs are in better shape, they are flatter and chocolate feels like softer and the piece melts in your mouth very smoothly contrary to 5-piece chocolate bar. But my favorite is Fazer's Taloussuklaa which is basically a dark cooking chocolate, but I'm that weird and I just love it! 😁 (but I have to mention that I don't like dark chocolates in general that much, only that Fazer's Taloussuklaa) You should try Fazer's Suffeli Da Capo chocolate bites, which you can find in a biscuit shelf (175g bag). I don't mind so much of those Da Capo chocolate bars, but those cookies are somehow really delicious! (it has a tiny little amount of Martinique rum). There's a true story that IS reporter ate 4 Da Capo bars in a row and when he right away blew to the alcoholmeter, it said 0,6 per mille. So be careful with them! 😁

Even your most favorite gets a 4/5; perhaps you should reconsider your rating system. Or have you really found something that is 5/5 for you? Or maybe you think that nothing is ever perfect?

Hum, I have no experience whatsoever with chocolate from Finland. I've tried Belgian, Swizz, Norwegian, Swedish, Icelandic and American chocolate, of those the first two are my favorites followed by the Norwegian one while the American one is too sweet and the Swedish one is too cardboardy for my taste. On the licorice side of things I've only tried the some from Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden. There I prefer the one from Finland and the one from Iceland while the Norwegian and Swedish one isn't as good in my view. Please do try "Tyrkisk Peber" and "Läkerol salvi" as well as just those long thing curled up strings of Icelandic licorice. Oh, and the Icelandic "Opal" is just amazing! =) Back to chocolate. The Belgian and Swizz chocolate are both amazing and melts on your tongue, the Belgian ones I've tried are more complex with various fillings that's just wonderfull. The Swizz one was simpler milk chocolate but still melted on my tongue and was just the best pure milk chocolate I've ever tried. Norwegian milk chocolate while not as good as the Swizz one is still a really nice milk chocolate. And I like the fresh taste of norwegian milk chocolate with nuts in them. As for dark chocolate... It's a pity you don't like them, they're way more healthy. And I'm trying to switch to just eating dark fair trade chocolate. So I'm buying 85% cocoa chocolates with fair trade cocoa that I believe is grown in south america. Possibly also produced there, their dark chocolate seems to be roughly on par with the Norwegian dark chocolate and I've grown to prefer it over milk chocolate, in fact milk chocolate can seem a bit too sweet at times these days after getting used to dark chocolate.

Oh no! Poor you, had to eat that chocolate for the video. What sacrifices you make! And yet I say: sure, go for part 2! Fazer is the biggest chocolate manufacturer, but not the only one. There's at least Panda and Brunberg. I don't touch milk chocolate any more. I only eat dark chocolate. But it took a while to get used to. You could try dark Pirkka (another manufacturer) Luomu suklaa (luomu = luonnonmukainen, naturally farmed&manufactured, Americans at least would say "organic"), it's rather good in my opinion. Although Pirkka products aren't necessarily manufactured in Finland, don't recall if this chocolate is, but I guess it goes by Finnish recipe or something as it is in Finnish chocolate tests often. Fazer has Pure Dark label and Geisha comes dark too. The Pure Dark label has plenty of different flavors, and does well in taste tests, if you wanna go a bit to the wild side. I usually buy an ordinary Pirkka, Panda or Fazer dark plate, but they aren't as ... finesse. When I still was into milk chocolate, Fazer hazelnut, Bounty coconut chocolate and Tupla were my favorites. I remember how I found your channel. You were the weird Asian girl who tried salmiakki and loved it. You tried Fazer's Salmiakkisuklaa in that video, so I don't know if you want to do that again.

Aurinkohirvi first of all, thank you very much for this very interesting comment! Secondly, omg! that salmiakki chocolate video was shot almost more than a year ago! Thank you for watching my videos! 🙏🏼😊😊😊

Maybe you know this already but you seemed to have some difficulty with the packaging. The jagged edge allows you to rip the bar wrap and candy bags open like paper. i.ytimg.com/vi/t9B8lxNPKrk/maxresdefault.jpg The jagged edge allows the plastic to rip cleanly as if cut with scissors. You can also control the direction of the rip with a bit of practice . About Fazer being monopoly: There used to be many candy companies in Finland a decade or two ago but just like many other industries there has been international consolidation so others were bought by Fazer or foreign companies. As a result, Fazer is the only major Finnish candy company.

phyotyla Yeah I sometimes have problem ripping the bar wrap right. Most of the time I use scissors ✂️

If you really liked the Fazer chocolate, chances are, you're not going to like other local chocolate brands as they taste different. But all the different Fazer chocolate flavors are pretty good. If you want to try another brand, Brunberg is a Finnish manufacturer who does cream puff filled, chocolate covered little domes called Suukko. Like the German Dickmann's (but smoother, IMO). They come in different flavors. Strawberry and vanilla are personal favorites. Brunberg also make really good dark chocolate bars. You just need to buy the larger size as the smaller is sweetened with Stevia + another artificial sweetener and tastes different. Another Finnish brand is Kultasuklaa. They handmake stuff in smaller quantities, so finding their stuff is a little harder and they cost a lot. But their fish-shaped chocolates are delicious.

oh i love Brunberg's pusuja Suukko! I remember getting Brunberg chocolates whenever I visited Porvoo when I was during my visits as tourist (Little did I know I can also get them anywhere at any supermarket)!!!
