Good afternoon dear Kripal - Part 2 of the Royal Indianaa and conversation with Chef Venkatesh 👍 The sweet Uni appam is one of my favourites 👌 Wow Chef VB’s have been teaching 120 dishes to his staff every year 💯💯💯 He is so proud of his dishes 👍 Whoa a simple recipe like Vella-Paniyaram requires precision in terms of the thickness of the batter to get the flower shaped end dish 👌👌 As in the case with married men , the dishes cooked by our respective Bosses are 100% correct 😀 Time to take a sip or the Goli Paneer Soda followed by Tundi Mushroom and Malai 🥦. Good explanation of difference between TN & Karnataka Dosa / Dosae 👍 I agree Dosa with chutney is a divine combo 👍 Now time to have combo of the Vella-paniyaram with vara molagai chutney and looks yummy 😋 and you thoroughly relished it 👌 Now for the main course and that’s a great feast 😋 Yes the Arachavitta Sambhar has a completely different texture and flavour as compared to the other types of Sambhar and it’s one of my favourites 😀 The Idiyappam with the Murungaka Paya is fab combo 👌Kudos to Souz Chef Dinesh to handle / manage the Restaurant and his Guru 😀 The presentation of the Ambur Style Biryani looks great 👍 Yet another Dinesh ( Executive Chef ) is a pleasing personality . Time for the Paruppu Podi Rice with Thogaiyal with Pundu-vethalkuzhambu 👌 The VK rice has a good longevity and the flavour only improves with ageing . Today for lunch we had Ennai Kathrika and so happy that you also had it at RI . The Jeera Rasam rice with some smashed Applam is divine . I am getting hungry watching this vlog 😀 The topic has meandered into movies and good dialogue by the legendary SG’s daughter calling VB as the SG of the kitchen 👌👌 A good lunch is always satiated at the end by having Curd Rice 🍚 Love the fact that you both have mutual love and respect for each other ❤️❤️❤️ Enjoyed is an understated adjective for this 2 vlog series and your conversation with Chef VB . Watching part 1 and part 2 of this video now i feel i need to visit Chennai travel to this restaurant and try out the buffet. While watching the video i got water in my mouth. In first part looking at the buffet the south Indian dishes didn't appeal to me visually but here just putting it in a thali setting it looked much better ,still i don't relate to this kind of veg Chennai food I would happily be eating in a sarvana or murugan or a wonderful lunch thali at Hotel Palmgrove 👌 anyways the starters seemed much better here than main course n the Chef seems quite an affable guy 👌🙏 n hey don't they serve south Indian filter coffee in the end ?
