Tata Tiago NRG vs Ford Freestyle Comparison | Hindi | MotorOctane 

Freestyle is class apart! You can't compare it to Tata Tiago. When I went to Ford showroom to book Ecosport, my mom a 50 year old woman instantly loved freestyle which was in the showroom. This proves that the looks of Freestyle attracts a person who has no knowledge about cars. It was so attractive to my mom that we have a Ritz which my parents use now and they decided to sell it off and buy a Freestyle in 2021. My mom was impressed by the sheer robustness of the body and doors. When she closed the doors she recognised that the sound is very different to that of Ritz. And to close the door properly she had to use more energy. And she told me that cars need to have such built quality. Can u imagine this coming out of my mom? I was shocked. I've seen Nexon, Venue and XUV 300, I dint like Sonet's looks so dint even approach the dealer. I was impressed by Ford Ecosport and XUV300. These two look and give us the seating position of an SUV. Ecosport engine refinement and the power it generates was too good. People say it's congested at back etc but my parents who weigh above 80 kgs were able to sit relxingly behind with third person. And for 2 people back seat has a lot of space. Except for XUV 300 and Ecosport none of the other CSUVs have that SUVish look. Nexon looks like an XXL Indica, Venue like i20 Active. Both of their seating positions are more or less like a hatch. I dint like XUV300's infotainment system and cabin color, also the fit and finish was not what we expect out of a 14 lakh car hence brought Ecosport Sports diesel. Reviewers said the Suspension is stiff and we will feel potholes but trust me I drove the car over potholes to test suspension and it was butter smooth and we felt very very minor jerks inside the cabin. NVH is too good and refinement is wonderful. I had issue on first day with clutch but I got used to it in 2 days and now I don't feel any issue with clutch. Except for Wireless charging Ecosport is loaded and is on par with Venue when it comes to useful features. Ex: Automatic HID headlamps, Automatic rain sensing vipers, keyless passive entry, tilt and telescopic steering are practical and are useful. I'm not fan of wireless chargers, JBL/Bose systems and air purifier. I can get them in aftermarket. Sound system may not be JBL or Bose but it's really really good. It doesn't require Rear AC vents coz the AC is very powerful and under Max AC car gets cooled in 1 min in afternoon since it's winter and in Summer it could take 3-5 mins in the afternoon. In the nights, level 1 blower is enough to cool down Car. Also touch screen very responsive and better than my friend's Hyundai touchscreen. But coming to Freestyle and Figo, Ford did miss out on DRLs and projector headlamps which I feel is a must now a days to enhance looks of the car. If and when Ford offers the DRLs and projectors to these cars, they'll become the most sold for sure. That will complete this cars and there will be nothing to complain. I usually don't comment but I wanted to write this out of the experience which I'm enjoying with Ecosport and I want my fellow Indian to enjoy this American built and quality.

Freestyle is from upperclass segment. No comparison between Freestyle & Tiago. We should compare it with Polo Cross, i20 Active & Etios Cross. Tiago NRG kaha se aa gayi. 😒😒😒

Tranction control, 6 airbags, hill launch assist,Electrionic stability programme, electronic brake distribution,anti rollover protection,EPS, solid build quality , you are comparing all these to a car which has just orange colour in dashboard. People like you are responsible for all those deaths due to accidents by promoting unsafe cars. Don't sell yourselves for money from car manufacturers. Be responsible and have atleast some social consciousness.

Bhai..u did not mention security features of freestyle once..ARP 6 airbags traction control etc..only looks, seat comfort,bottle holders nd yes mileage matters in india..its hightime the car reviewers should emphasize more on security,ride comfort rather than seat comfort..freestyle wins hands down..am so happy i hv bought freestyle than swift i10 etc..!!

Really disappointed with your review. Ford freestyle is more value for money clearly in front of any car. The 2nd top variant that is titanium gives features such as traction control, hill launch assist and also you didn't mention active roll over protection feature. These features are not present in cars which are way more expensive than it. It's priced at around 7.6 Lakh on road which also has all the other necessary features too. Also with a better engine. Sorry to say but you are biased.

Ford freestyle is an amazing car, great value for money package, cannot compare with nrg as it is from a lower segment. Tiago is an entry level hatchback (from which nrg is made) whereas Figo is a premium hatchback

Sound like a prejudiced review...freestyle has lot more features including safety...that justifies the prize difference...engine both diesel and new Dragon petrol are jems...I drove both of them...though the normal Tiago...tiago sounds much if not horrible...my own choice is freestyle

Obviously Freestyle stands a clear winner considering its rugged look, safety features and its fluidic and good looking touch screen and dash. How come you can declare Tiago a winner, considering it is SASTA, this is a complete crap! One can go for a Maruti if its on being a SASTA product.

Price difference could be majorly due to ABS, EBD , TCS, Hill assist being offered in freestyle as opposed to Tiago..where it's unavailable even as options on d lower spec models.. that way freestyle is good VFM product..

6 airbags alloy wheels infotainment system adjustable rear headrest is much better. ESP TCS hill hold assist available only in freestyle. I don't know how can you judge a car by its seats only🤣

Rear seat is better on the Freestyle, so is the quality. Also Freestyle has lower maintenance costs. And no one ever questions the reliability of Ford atleast. So Freestyle is definitely worth it with a much better engine of course. Hence the winner.

Tiago NRG may provide a little less power compared to freestyle but Tiago JTP is more powerful than freestyle also TATA hasn't compromised with the Build quality . Tiago scored 4* in Global NCAP crash test. Friends don't just take name Tiago coz brother of Tiago i.e Tiago JTP is more powerful than freestyle.

I wud compare the Tiago NRG Petrol with Freestyle Trend Petrol variant.. still the NRG is cheaper by about 90K on road!! Style wise Freestyle has a slight edge.. Quality levels overall are same.. Performance wise Freestyle has a slight edge.. NVH wise Freestyle slight edge again.. Space wise, Freestyle again slightly.. Ride n Handling too Freestyle very slight edge.. So overall Freestyle as a product has a slight edge in terms of Style, Performance, Dynamics, Comfort n Space.. but is it good enough to be priced 90K over NRG! is the question.. Overall both are very close n may be NRG has a slight edge due to its incredible value! Diesel wise there is no comparison just pick the Freestyle eyes closed just for that engine!!

I don't understand how these you tuber allowed to criticize any brand. They must be certified by any regulatory authority to give transparent review only, not there view. The view must be only of customer who are owning the brand or going to purchase car with hard earned money.
