I am really confused between nexon amd ecosport diesel. And choosing ecosport finally. Tell me if i am making a mistake. 😁

My choice would be Ecosport. For the extra amount which I pay, i would get Six airbags, Traction control which is very important for an automatic, cruise control, break assist, sync 3 system with much responsive and high resolution touch screen.

Nexon, overall millage , built and price is number one car.

buy ecosport for a better vehicle and good smartphone for features! :D motoroctane is not paid enough by Ford! they promote only Hyundai and Tata!

Suggestion for improvement: Whenever you say some numbers (mileage, ground clearance etc. ) in the video show it to the screen at the same time.

I have not seen many reviews mention the slightly reduced visibility in EcoSport and nexon due to thicker beams. Liked that this was mentioned. Great impartial review. :)

Why didn't the guy focus more on critical features like Traction Control, Stability Control, Brake Assist, etc which are available on the EcoSport? These are more important than the 12V ports, rear light, AC vent, etc, they assist you to avoid an accident and save your life. Ford is the clear winner in terms of safety with the addition of those important features.

Both this cars scored a very good results in NCAP test so both this cars are equally good in their own terms .But if i were to choose from any one of this i will defenetly go for Tata Nexon .

Ford EcoSport Signature Edition Diesel Best one.

Knee room is same for both and seats are more comfortable in ecosport for long distances but short distance nexon ka acha hai due to memory foam, but memory foam is not advisable for long distances. Interior and backside of nexon I don't like. It seems as if the designer seems to be confused and in the end gave up launch pressure.

In both the cars you get what you pay for. Nexon is cheaper and more of a middle-class family car, therefore sells more in our price sensitive market. Ecosport costs you about 1 - 1.5 lakh more but offers a lot more too - a wayyy better gear box (torque converter) with paddle shifters, 4 more airbags, traction control (must for an automatic), and cruise control (a big big big plus on the highways..... Trust me). Coming to the mileage part - cruise control helps in achieving a higher highway mileage too. But city mileage in Ecosport AT is expectedly less, offset by better driving dynamics + a torque converter unit. So It boils down this - if I have extra 1 lakh bucks to spare, I would go for a better driving experience / features offered in the Ecosport AT anyday! But If I want to save that (to buy an LED TV or something 🤪), I will go for Nexon AMT - a good value for money proposition. But that really would be a compromise - If you feel otherwise you are just trying to make yourself feel better 😅.

I strongly disagree that the Tata Nexon offers better bang for your buck. You're paying only about ₹1.5 lac lesser for a car that's an entire segment lower and has a long list of missing features. The EcoSport has the better engine, far better transmission, better steering, cruise control, better media system, far more intelligence and automation, better front seats, premium leather upholstery and safety features that are from a segment above. You also get a better purchase and after sales experience. All said and done, I think the EcoSport offers significantly higher value for the money you spend on it. The only reason I would recommend the Nexon is if you cannot afford the EcoSport.

The Nexon Petrol is not that bad as the reviewers make it out to be. Powerdrift review even says Petrol is better. It does have the punch to keep you engaged.

I have a Nexon Petrol. City drive is very smooth, and highways are fun. It is a car loaded with fun and practicality. But to be honest, the best cars for daily traveling in cities are always small cars like Alto.
