Unlike many cowardly performers, HAZEL SCOTT spoke publicly against RACISM WHITE SUPREMACY. She refused to let people feel comfortable mistreating HER because she was a "negro". She was the first "negro" woman to have her own TV show. She publicly opposed McCarthyism and segregation. She was "blacklisted" as a result. Tatjana Patitz had a mystique about her, yet she STILL stood out amongst the other GORGEOUS supermodels in George Michael's ICONIC Freedom video. Very sad Tatjana would leave at such a young age. Wow . She was one of my favorite super models. One of the REAL super models, who actually beat the pavement and came up from hard work, not nepotism and deep connections. She, Tyra, Naomi, Beverly Johnson, Iman, Veronica Webb, Christy Turlington, Elaine Irwin, and maybe a couple others I can't recall right now. Stephanie was missing from the 1990 Peter Lindbergh one, Linda was missing from the 1989 photo by Herb Ritts with them all sitting naked on the floor, Christy was missing from the "wild at heart" 1991 picture, again by Peter Lindbergh, Cindy and Linda both missing from the April 1993 group Vogue cover by Herb Ritts and so on....they couldn't all be everywhere in every single photo

You most likely have seen her before. Tatjana was a silent supermodel. Never had a lot of public drama. She worked consistently. Her face was all over magazines television commercials. If you saw a L'Oreal shampoo commercial in the late 80s through the 90s you've seen her.
