I have both theTaurus G3's the c, and the regular, they are good reliable guns. And between them I have shot about 400 rds. No issues, accurate enough for self defence, and easy on the wallet. The C is thicker than a SIG 365, so it is a wee harder to conceal, but not much. Veredict? Inexpesive, not CHEAP, reliable and accurate. You can buy with confidence!
G3C is a winner. Carry the Shield mainly, but the G3C is no less capable. They were just selling them at Cabelas for $229. Talk about a steal. Bought mine a way back for $279. Best buy I ever made in a pistol.
Here's a hint - if you are law enforcement, OR security, they will default you to the G3C without the thumb safety. Got mine about a month ago, put 200 rounds through it so far, no jams, misfires or any type of failure. My current EDC.
I love the Taurus G3C Great shooter! Big "Bang" for your $. I have had mine for about 1 year and have at least 1,000 rounds through it without any complaints. Great Truck weapon, wear it to work never worry about scratches etc. Good buy!
I would say that my G3C is better than a Glock because I like the grip angle better than a Glock. I think the grip angle on the G3C is closer to Smith & Wesson and Sig. I may have shot close to 2,000 rounds through it and I have NEVER had a problem. Love it. I split my pocket cary between my G3C and my Sig P365. I trust both 100%. The biggest thing for me is that the G3C just feels good in my hands and I can shoot it good. Thanks for the video.
I have the G3, G3C, GX4XL ….the T.O.R.O models as well…unused the G3 to qualify on my CCW test …I’ve had mine for a couple of years and at least 2000 rounds each…neve an issue…I have changed my trigger on the G3C’s and all of them do have aftermarket barrels, Guide rod assemblies, new strikers and striker guides and springs…lol…I know what you’re gonna say….show me a Glock guy who hasn’t changed something on their Glock ….I own a few other makes and models S&W, SIG, Springfield, Canik etc etc…I only changed the trigger on the G3C because I didn’t like the restrike…I didn’t need it…it’s nice to practice your trigger squeeze with it …I know their history but in my opinion all of this is fixed and from G3 series to the newest GX4 Carry you can’t beat the quality and dependability of these pistols but as always…to each his/her own…I won’t berate or put down anyone for their choices…it’s all personal …anyone who does is trash…get ya one …it won’t disappoint
Much of the trash talk on Taurus is unjustified. I have had more problems with my Colts and Rugers than Taurus. My new one is made in the new Georgia plant and functions just fine. My latest Smith came with a bunch of bad functioning mags.
I have a pretty big collection, but I love the G2C in 40 SW. Perfect size! 10+1 capacity! The Sheild has 6 or 7 w/extension. Plus, it's slightly thicker and handles recoil a lot better. I use a Techniclip instead of a holster so I appreciate the thumb safety as well.
I like Taurus guns, still own a fee of them. When I first got the G2 I thought the trigger was broke at first 😅. But I got used to it and it was a damn good pistol. Never malfunction with any ammo, even steal case. I have Sigs, S&W, etc. but I carry my Taurus 605 revolver most times
I have a G3TORO and TX22 and they are both great weapons. I also have my eyes on the G3C . Taurus email information is awesome. Ruger & Glock email information is great too. Thanks for your video you did a great job.
I have the G3 and the G3c and they are inexpensive guns but not cheaply made by any means, surely they can last 10,000+ rounds with proper cleaning and maintenance. and the tennifer finish on top may discolor and get a scratch or two but thats no big deal at all, These are excellent firearms that shoot great and will last as long as any glock or other name brands
