Thank you for your post. I've had my Taurus G3C for a couple of years. In fact, I'm carrying mine today. There is absolutely nothing I would change about it.
Damn it Terry! You keep making these Taurus G series vs Glock vids and Taurus might raise their prices on us 😂 Lmao once again this is a no brainer for me being the price difference
Glock at one time was capacity king, always had a few more rounds than everyone else. You think they would have been the first one to have FROM THE FACTORY 15 or even 17 rounds ( like Sig Macro) in the 43X. Then it would have made more sense.
I have a g3c but Im a trucker and some places don't want me carrying. I need something really small I almost bought a one of those 2 shot derringers by bond arms but decided against it. Any advice on something really small?
Having issues with my G3C ... running Super Val reloads 1 × 9mm Luger 115 gr. FMJ "Certified Select" and with a full mag the first round will jam. This happened with all three Taurus mags a few times. I've read others had the same issue with the g3c and it was solved after polishing the load ramp. But as of this time I don't feel comfortable carrying it for self defense. Also considering a Ruger Max 9
You should never Carry any gun that malfunctions amd you are not comfortable with. My guess is it is ammo related but I would definitely tey the feed ramp polish.
@@TerryBenton ... I polished the feed ramp to a mirror... 1000 rounds later and she's running like silk. My only issue is even with loctite the front sight comes loose.
The G3C found it's way into the perfect ergonomic pistol for me I couldn't find in the 27 or 43x though I love and own both. Mine has been every bit as reliable as my Glocks too
I guess I have become a Taurus fanboy I own some m&ps a sig but just picked up 5 th Taurus yesterday a g3c ,already had the spectrum, the g2 c the g3 and the g2s all great reliable fire arms
Love my G3C also love my glock...yes I have both....the G3C feels better in my med sized hand but what i really like is that a 17 round mag from a regular size G3 fits in my G3C perfectly, bought a mag sleeve from bloody wheels for $9 bucks to fill the gap and presto 17 plus 1! Which i think we all would agree that when going to the range the less time we spend filling mags...the more time for shootin!
@@TerryBentonI already did. Now I have both!😂 Got a 15 round mag too which is legal where I live. I like both… the 43x is way more comfortable to carry in my opinion and it’s lighter. The G3c is nice as well though and was my very first firearm. Honestly it’s hard to choose which one to carry as a EDC. Right now I like the Glock better. Even though it’s boring looking… My G3c looks prettier honestly lol.
Owing the g2c & g3c for almost a year I’ll keep my Taurus in front line I like Glock however I like many others as well But g3c vs 43x I’m going g3c holds more better grip and u can drop a flat face trigger unit that breaks crazy good
TL;DR...I shoot guud with it and all my homies have a G3c. Look, my Sig P365 is my EDC, but just picked up a brand new G3c because of major deal ($236 out the door, but only two mags). 250 rds ran so far and no malfunctions. Doesn't give me tender spots after long sessions. I am in love with this little thing. Chunkier than my P365 and I can't pocket conceal with it like my Sig. Weirdly long trigger pull too, but you quickly get used to it. It is perfectly concealable otherwise. Taurus is trying to make up ever since they moved manufacturing to the States.
@@TerryBenton agreed. I also own a Taurus TX22 which is Guns & Ammo 2019 gun of the year. It is the most reliable .22LR pistol that I have ever owned or tested.
@@TerryBenton As a real world firearms instructor, I have shot dozens of of the G2c and G3c pistols...and witness hundreds of students using them them on our range. I have also fired/owned dozens of Glocks....and witness thousands of them in use. Based on that experience, I stand by my original comment as well as this one....only a moron would choose a Taurus over a Glock to protect themselves and their families. But you are right, it's not about cost, it's about quality...and Hi-Points are cheaper and more reliable than Taurus. ...and Happy Father's Day,
@@TerryBenton I have shot dozens of G3Cs and witnessed hundreds of them in use by students on our range. I have also owned/fired dozens of Glocks and seen thousands of them in use by students on our range. Based on that experience, I stand by my original comment 100%. However you are right, it not about price it's about quality and reliability, and Glocks are vastly far superior to Taurus in both regards. Going cheap is fine for somethings, but self-defense is NOT one of them.
They gone bomb on me in the comments but the Taurus is better 😂 I have both 43x 10 rounds that’s trash g3c 12 +1 smooth recoil 43x snappy I don’t care 🤷🏾♂️ it’s trash 🚮 to me lmaoo but I love Glocks
I have both . And the 43x will always be better. My opinion. It’s slimmer than the g3. You can run 15,18, and 20 rd mags in the 43x . It’s way more customizable than the g3 is. And to me shoots better than the g3 . And the fact that 3 brand new g3/g3c mags crapped on me at 200rds , I’ll stick to Glock reliability for edc.
I know the G3 alone is similar in dimension to the 19 but the G3x wouldn't compare to the 43x or 19. G3 grip length with a 3.2 inch slide of the g3c. Longer then the 43x in height and shorter than 19 in length.
I own the g3c I have also owned a Glock 45 I wanted something more compact for ccw, sold the 45 and got a g30 .45 auto. My opiniop, best ccw. However I like to fluctuate my ccw so I picked up the g3c and my thoughts on it after a couple thousand rounds. It comes out of the box better than a Glock and for the price, Damn. Glock is the Gucci of the gun market people pay for the name alot and Glock knows it. They make a $12 pistol and sell it for $600. However comparing the g43x to the g3c, Glock now makes a gen 5 g43x and it is MOS. Shield Arms makes aftermarket metal magazines that hold 15 rounds flush in the gun. And even 20 round mags that only extend out slightly. And with all the aftermarket parts for Glock. I would choose the g43x in fact I'm thinking of buying one lol. I still love my g3c and it's use will be a range gun and or training gun.
In all the rounds I've put through my g3c have all been brass cheap stuff. No jams or jelly from it definitely wouldn't put it past a reliable ccw. It eats hollow points no issue as well
G3c has a couple people making triggers and barrels fot it. Slide can always be milled for 100 or so and can accept 10,12,15,17 rnd mags or p226 mags. Still cheaper than Glock. Buuut as much I like g3, have 3 of them, Glock has better CS and they are mil proven. G3c is street proven though 😂
No contest ♉️+ HST x Critical D🩸🐝=🚮 🤣,Smiths are as low as you ever go for reliable budget hollow eaters best out the OG SD9VE🪶👑 and 🛡+TS,but G26/23 the only two glocks you’ll ever need
