not necessarily, in my opinion m2k has a better off ledge game than zero, and in terms of all smash games that is a definite no... zero does however have one of the best neutral games of everyone else
It's nice to see ZeRo getting his footing back :) Definitely still very dominant in this game. I'll be honest tho if anti won he would have dabbed to the sky lmao
This was such a great Grands, and ZeRo has stepped up his Diddy vs. Mario matchup a lot. He almost never pulled a banana vs. Mario, and rarely shot pressure peanuts at Anti while Anti recovered. Instead, it was more crawl-spacing and anticipation, which is a lot scarrier against someone like ZeRo who covers so many options at once.

If the character was bad, the top player wouldn't use them in bracket. Also Nairo used Lucina extensively in doubles yesterday and it worked out for him.
Floor Don't you dare compare Lucina to Charizard lol. Also Nairo took 1 game off of ZeRo with that Lucina. Prince Ramen took a whole set and also 2 stocked him at least once with an even lower tiered character. People keep shouting out the rare occasions that certain characters beat top players and pretend that it is proof the character is really good. Nah man, Zard and Palutena are still low tiers. That doesn't mean they can't have their good moments or that they're completely useless, but also definitely not that the character is consistently good. Almost no characters are useless in this game and any character could beat a top player's top tier character pretty much, but don't go as far as to believe Charizard or Palutena are actually high or top tiers too.
Kinda getting tired of people discrediting ZeRo. It's not the character it's the player. ZeRo's reaction time and game knowledge is absolutely insane. Skill wise he's the best by far.
Let's be real here. This was a game where ANTi was on tilt. That man could play so much better and in fact he did earlier in bracket... It didn't even look like a competition after the reset.
I know he plays for money as well but he gots a better variety of characters to choose from though. Makes him more unique than zero. Zero use diddy because he's fast and he can spam bananas and down tilts. Which is so hard to punish making a greater chance for him to win. Zero isn't the best in the world, if he is then he would be using different characters to win tourneys. Obviously we will never see that because he got a reputation to keep that " best in the world " title on his back. So he will continue to use Diddy or Shiek to maintain the winning streak
He's consistent in placing first place because of high tiers. Of course he will be rank that high. You're bringing another player into this. Please don't do that. Anti doesn't just play high tiers to counterpick, as you can see he used Charizard...unlike zero.
I do understand. Anti didn't use all the top tiers. He only used Cloud and Mario. He used charizard to change up the pace of the game. Why would he pick charizard to lower his chance of winning if he knew zero will win? Wouldn't make sense for a player to do that. Anti just like picking different variety of characters. So what you're saying isn't true.
damn, zero is so good -_- I LOVE watching him play, but orgasm when I see him lose. He seems so damn fundamental, like every move he makes, is the correct one. when hoping ZeRos enemy wins, you're hoping for a random stroke of luck to get you through. (sometimes)
ANTi should've used Sheik. ZeRo was dominating his Mario, and he knows how to play against ZSS and Cloud very well. Sheik was probs his best option, tho wtf do i know, im not a top player.
The thing is, anti is good with a lot of characters, but Zero is so solid that it's a risk switching off to a character unless you are super confident with them. Mad respect for trying out the Charizard. Zard is so under rated.

Can they stop talking about how Anti beat Zinoto with Cloud? Zero is 10x better than Zinoto and he wouldn't be the best if a little switch Cloud could beat him.
I thought cloud was a mistake. The warning bells should have already sounded when komorikiri decided to go solo sonic. And zero is well practiced in that matchup with dominating wins over m2k and tweek. I believe zero was also up 10-3 on komo's cloud when he trained in Japan. Maybe anti saw something in his practice sessions with zero? Or did he really believe that it would go similar to CEO?
I think it was over when Anti went Charizard. That first game was pretty close. Idk why he chose to switch to Charizard. I think confidence is a big key here. Anti lost it. I actually thought Zero fell from grace but dam... I did NOT expect a 6-0 at all. I figuered Anti would have taken at least one game. Whelp. Guess nothings really changed too much. ZeRo is still the king of Smash 4.
would've liked to see more jump-cancel rock smashes from antis zard. that tends to work on diddy kong really well because it mostly invalidates banana. also at least one flare blitz for the hype would have been cool.

Funny you say he only plays the "best characters" (in one of the better balanced games in the world) ... so, why would anyone in a competitive scene play characters that are not "the best"? It doesn't make any sense... like, "I hate how my Honda Civic loses to that guy's lamborghini... I wish he wouldt use that car that I could also use but don't want to because I'm a teenage hipster".
ZeRo can win any tournament as long as he doesn't run into Ally, if that happens then he is basically screwed. Luckily for zero Ally was sick and had to drop out, if not they probably would have faced and ZeRo would have either been sent to losers or eliminated by Ally.
How the heck can people love it when one person wins every tournament? That is actually the stupidest thing to happen for a competitive game and hopefully it never happens again to sm4sh. Sm4sh is a COMPETITIVE game so people who are all very close in skill compete at nationals and the winner isn't super obvious. If Ally, or ZeRo or someone else starts winning every tournament then sm4sh will just go back to its cancerous period of 2015 where it was super boring and barely any hype whatsoever. Like the most hype thing that ever happened that year was Esam going to game 5 with ZeRo in Winners Finals, that is pathetic for a competitive game.
