Hi Chris thankyou for watching the video that's much appreciated,Chris I've had the Billy canteen for the best part of 6 months now and if you watch any of my other vids you'll see it gets used alot, I cannot fault it, it does occasionally get used above the fire and on the meths brass burner, but I'm a stickler for cleaning my kit always have been, cant take my army training away from me lol those habits die hard, it's actually really easy to clean and keep in good condition, I have seen the path finder version of this canteen in use and I'd say that there isnt much to chose between them so that would be down to personal preference, which ever version you go for it would be a great addition to your kit, cheers jj

Thanks looks good and if it cleans up that well I’m definitely sold on it, I know some of these vids I watch usually show dented up blackened kits that are obviously well loved and used but it’s reassuring that there’s one/some that clean up nice, thanks for the review, enjoyed watching 👍

@@outinthewoods5652 hi mate ..I've never been one for letting my kit get tatty and knackered..I know some like that blackened look but that's not for me..well apart from the frying pan there's only so much cleaning you can do with that lol..but I love this mug and it's used alot..they are easily cleaned and shape up well my friend a few mates have them as well and swear by it ..cheers jj

I've already got a 40 oz kleen kanteen that I take out with me for water...so the double wall bottle is perfect for hot fluids etc ..come summer it will take ice to keep fluid cold so is a win win my friend...brilliant value for money...pretty lucky having the bushcraft store just down the road from me..30 min drive tops...

Not as far as I'm aware my friend I'm only stating what I assume is a rubberized seal...havent had any issues what so ever with this after a yrs worth of use

@@shaneyLG hi shane ..i didn't think that at all sir not a problem..i can see why you would ask and understand that..its only a tiny little rubber lip..its designed to stop the lid rattling as such and doesn't come into much contact with heat..this cup which is my fav is based upon the pathfinder cup and in my opinion it's actually better than that one..thanks for the sub too atb jj

The bushcraftstore actually do a pouch that houses it all from what I remember..not sure if they sell it separately..but you can buy it all together check www.thebushcraftstore.co.uk

The bottle is still going well thanks I haven't had any issues at all with the rubber seal which I'm happy with, I havrnt felt the need to use it on an open fire but I know others have by changing the lid system , being able to fit the cannister in the mug is a bonus...thanks for watching atb jj

Its a brilliant canteen mug and bottle my friend they work so well together ...the trousers are the fjallraven lapland hybrid .. they are the only trousers I wear perfect for me ..thanks for watching atb jj
