Just the comparison I was looking for: I highly like the patch feature from the MS-3. On the other hand the Plethora sounds more special/analogue now and then, which I like. Nice to hear some Beatenberg by the way :)

I don't understand the hater comments. This guy plays excellent. Clean tone are just great. Keep on making guitar-gear videos bro!!. I really asked myself: What that trolls wanted? A metalhead demo?
Hello friend, thanks for the video. I have the Plethora and each effect it has is a universe of possibilities, I think it is not appreciated in your comparison. The boss looks great anyway, pedals for different rigs. Greetings 👌
I kinda prefer the MS3 sounds on some of these except for the delays. TC Electronic knows how to do delays. I'd pick the MS3 simply because I can switch from preset mode to stomp mode in an instant, giving me technically 4 boards in a live performance. Plethora looks awesome and your can't beat that interface. I guess it depends on how you plan to use it. MS3 is also a switcher, intended to control other devices via MIDI. So, I'm definitely leaning toward the MS3. Now, I just need to find my wallet. The wife has hidden it again.
Great video and A/B comparison. Currently have the Nova system and frustrated enough with the tuner performance and lack of Ditto. How is the performance of the Plethora's tuner?
I think it's better or equal to my TC's clip tuner I test both together both work fine and great But plethora didn't have full string tuning function tho
The tuner is just fine. The Plethora is underwhelming and overpriced. Unless they finally come through with the updates they promised seven months ago.
@@TonyHawkTuah I bought one at launch. Definitely overpriced, in my opinion. I used it for a bout a month, and sold it off. I’m much more satisfied with what I’ve gotten out of the HX Stomp.
@@ChadBoston Correct. The Plethora has an app to connect via BlueTooth and when using the different default effects (so not the signature toneprints) you can edit 'till the dogs are howlin'.
@@kodykindhart8230 I played it though a few amps, musicman HD 150, marshal origin 50H, a katana 100 combo in stereo one a orange stomp, all the tube amps it made crazy clicking and helicopter sounds
@@carlosgunz85 I sold it after having it for 2 weeks, the customer service was pretty poor, you have join there big corporate group then talk to someone that doesn’t even work for tc, that didn’t know the product and they wanted me to film the problems, but I paid for the product and don’t work for them so I got rid of it
@@Nathansillav Same w Line6,you have to join the support group (I could not for over a year bc they *would not* respond to the error everytime I tried to sign up,m-f*ckers.) and then they leave to customers to solve each others problems.Hate Line6...shame TC is like that.
