Indeed it is very beautiful! It is refereed to paper porcelain, it can also denote how much kaolin is a type of clay within a piece of china. Thank you for subscribing as well and I hope you enjoy my content!

Pre 1840s most British pottery would have no markings, so no marks could mean it's rare and early 19th or 18th century.

Yes! I have recently acquired six new 18th century tea bowls and I agree with that statement. They all have no marks but my Salopian tea bowl has a small blue "s". Thank you for sharing! Hopefully I'll do a video about that discussion.

Occupied Japan means after the war. When companies such as JVC also known as Japanese Victor corporation were formed....I have a set of Noritake china. But I think it's the restaurant grade. Looks chip resistant.

I have been researching the marks on the bottom of my cup and saucer and can't find it no where. It's signed GW 1962 in blue ink. It's a solid floral print. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you!

I have a Wedgwood teacup without the saucer is it worth anything?

It depends on the piece of Wedgwood, but most of the time it should be a complete set. Thank you for your question!

think I bought a dud from a thrift store. It has what looks like Japanese Scribbles on the bottom of the tea pot, but it wasn’t hand-painted. It is transfer printed and the luster ware glaze looks a bit cheap. Do you know if there is a website that would check it out for me on the
