All these teachers need to leave their jobs! Definitely you’ll get better benefits at another job. Stop wasting y’all’s time trying to educate this generation of youth. They have no respect for teachers. Then when there’s no more teachers. Parents will start talking their nonsense when the parents should’ve taken action in the 1st place. Although of course parents use the school as in an excuse to be free from their children 8 hours of the day. Saddening
@@hillbillysceptic1982 I agree. Parents and the feral behaviour of parents, their kids AND administrators and colleagues is just one of the reasons why I left the 'profession'. Too many schools believe they should be recruiters for the democratic party.
This is why education is going down the tubes. Classrooms are chaos, teachers are burnt out and leaving in droves, and what do lawmakers do? Establish a task force that meets only once in a three month period of time. How f'n useless.
90 percent of teachers who are staying are staying for their pensions now. No one wants to do this anymore because of the unrealistic expectations and lack of respect. We can't teach like we hoped we could. It's sad really because most of us used to love it.
I work at a large school district and these districts don't really care much about the teachers what they're having to go through discipline problems kids running up and down the Halls and then expect them to pass and not just teachers leaving the job custodians and all other staf also making it hard all the way around
Teachers have been letting the districts know of the problems in the classrooms, we just haven't been listened to. Teachers are finally caring more about themselves, than the students who they have been serving. Parents need to hold their own kids accountable for their naughty behaviors, rather than excusing them. Administrations need to send those naughty kids home, so the parents actually HAVE to deal with their own mess they created. The meaningless paperwork that teachers are being required to do needs to be eliminated (the only reason we have it, is because of parents who sued the district, and to make the district SEEM like they are actually doing something to fix the problems, which they are NOT!). I think most teachers would return/stay in the classroom, if these things were dealt with. Districts will only care when their funding is removed, when kids start going somewhere else for their education. Then, it will be too late! I have thought of quitting for the last 3 years. The kids are the only reason I stay. And even that may not be enough to keep me. I am a "quiet quitter" that is waiting to be fired for the lack of useless paperwork that I have stopped filling out. I finally refused to do such a thing, this school year. We'll see what happens!
I will never be a teacher especially in Texas and Florida. These undisciplined kids, kids bringing guns, do not care about their studies, parents don't give a s*** about the teachers, books being banned, afraid to teach anything because the parents will say it's not of their religion and what they feel about race relations. No thank you. I'll rather teach in a state that cares about the teachers and haven't silenced the teachers on really critical subjects that should get these kids ready for college. That includes slavery real history. No gags on teachers ability to be creative. A free state. No fascist totalitarian state. A free state that gives teachers the freedom to teach.

As a retired LEO who worked the numerous security jobs in Middle and high schools, there is no way in hell that I would be able to put up with the crap that I saw the teachers having to endure. Much respect.
