I love teaching new players, man. I was in a stolen Warden truck running logi at night, and a no-rank looking through the darkness saw an enemy truck and just fired. Dude felt SO bad. After I fixed it he asked if he could tag along to see what I'm doing. We made a Tankette together and my boy racked up a TON of kills on the gun, it was a blast. He runs a logistic regiment now. Awesome stuff.
i just started playing this weekend. i walked up to a person and asked how to put fuel in a truck. He was so nice and took me through an entire basic logi loop straight to the front line in about 30 min. It was great. I am loving logi so far. i would like to find a somewhat more advanced logi video. there is so much to learn. i can sit here and watch videos all day but i need to get out there and bring supplies to the front!
That's so awesome! I love to hear these stories! Thanks for sharing! What kind of advance logi video are you thinking? Over time you learn to prioritize your time better. I will say also if you play frontline more as infantry and tanking you will also learn what is important to keep bunkers supplied with. When i started no one thought me anything 😂 i just walked around the start island and read the stuff 😂 and with basic knowledge i went to the wild equipped with a pistol and hammer

New guys are the best. They have this "let's go" attitude and find everything amazing. They haven't yet got salty or callous from all the hoops you have to jump through to get the green menace out of Caoiva.

Bruh I remember when I was first starting I ran for like two hexes to get to the front and when there I saw a dude in a green truck doing logi and since I was a warden I figured green meant enemy so I hid behind a tree and threw stickers at him LMAO, missed ofc and he just honked and kept driving. Later that same dude taught me logi, and he took me on a delivery on that same road and I was like wait... "Are you that dude I tried to ambush?" "Yeah that was me."

Tbh the community is like super open to new players,i remember trying to do everything myself with no clue but a few ppl in a regiment helped me and in the end im now a part of there regiment as a builder

Spam trenches on the front line!!!! god I laughed so hard at this... it is exact the first thing i did when i started playing, my buddy and I literelly found shovels in the first 15 minutes of playing and tried to dig a trech straight up to the enemy BB ... god... good times... 1,5k hours later i now realise , maybe not a good idea XD so fun to see a new player experiancing all this... what a long journey ahead to go
Ah yes new players, I'm not much for logi or building (I prefer to fix my bayonet and charge the nearest trench) but at one point one of my regi members suckered me into helping build a fort and when one of em was teaching a newbie the ropes suddenly one of the other regi members ran by crying and saying "Reppix please you don't have to do this!" While I'm chasing em with a flamethrower laughing maniacally and describing with great detail how I'm gonna serve her for lunch... yeah my ADHD is more of a hindrance than anything.
So you said that what you thought him was less then 5% and i would kindly ask. Is it possible you could make a advanced video going into more and maybe a exspert one aswell? I know it would be alot of work but would be highly appriciated.
I would love to do that! A lot of my solo logi videos go into some more in-depth logi and I normally talk out my thought process through those. Have you watched those before by chance? Here is a good tip from a solo logi and a solo facility runners , build your facility near the sea or near the coal mine , use iron ship to get raw materials it can hold over 26k in one go better than flatbed , planning on your facility location is important must be close from all resources and can be accessible to sea , when you build your facility make it compact to reduce Msupply cost i managed to keep my facility running on 3k Msupply daily in a bad hex modifier, build walls around your facility and upgraded to cement walls trade material with other facility owner if you missing something , cannibalize Frontline facility from any material since it will be over run by enemy . I followed those tips and made 8 BT and 66 Stygian and upgraded 210 falchion to spathe in war 102

Im watching videos to learn Foxhole logistics before I buy this game so i can hit the ground running, that being said, I have 0 hours So, can we use rank as a indicator on the type of person you're dealing with? My current understanding is that commendations are the only thing that contribute to a rank of a player.
You are correct commends are the only way to “rank up”. Overall rank actually means nothing. No real extra perks or anything. But some high ranked people “could” be experts at the game but it’s not always the case. For example I’m a Major. Pretty high rank 800 hours in the game. I could talk a lot about what to do with logistics but I probably couldn’t lead a tank or infantry push. People have their specialities. Fastest way to rank up is doing logi in the back and midline’s. That’s a pretty short explanation. Hope it helps! Let me know if you have any other questions. I’m happy to answer them! Cheers!
