Watched Teague’s batting for the whole 34 minutes and I loved it. He is so calm and composed while batting. I’ve also learnt some stuff out of his batting like picking the gaps. Hope you keep making these types of videos

He's using an old millichamp and Hall bat. Representing all the way from Somerset, UK. They do make the best bats.

Not that anyone asked but if I was bowling too this bloke I'd attempt to bowl a 5-6 stump line looking for a catch at cover, it seems like his head might have a slight tilt at point of contact which means he's eyes aren't level, so if you bowl consistently enough that he has a go at it he's weight just might be slightly on the back foot more than the front foot which could give short cover a catch. Alternatively you could draw him across his stumps a bit like Joe Root and target the pads with the odd in-swinger. I'm not a professional though, and kinda bored. Hence why I wrote this.

Congrats Teague. Is there any chance you can put out a spin bowling video. Mainly taking about different grips, balls, more spin etc. As a young off-spinner I tend to struggle to get a good amount of spin on the ball to make the batter struggle. Any tips would be great. Keep up the good work mate.

Speaking as a bowler:- If I saw a batsman walk across his stumps like this guy, I'd have a split in-out field, bowl the same line (top of off to middle & off), then bring in the variations (change of pace, angle on the crease, in/out swing, cutters), make it so he can't score boundaries (make him change his game, do something different), only singles.

Its interesting. That huge movement of feet prior to the delivery seems to cause him to not move his front foot to the pitch of the delivery at times. Gets caught on the crease with bat miles from front pad. Having said all that he seems to be doing ok in first class cricket now lol ;)

he is moving towards his off stump too much, it reduces shot selection, in my opinion.

Aadish Reji he’s manipulating the ball to be on a line more comfortable for him. It makes a 4-5th stump delivery easier to work through the mid wicket region. It also makes leaving the ball easier. By moving across to your off stump you know that anything outside you isn’t a threat. This means you don’t have to play at the good length deliveries

seems to amaze me how blokes like this are getting a game for Australia and representing his state, no foot movement at all doesn't move his feet to the pitch of the ball just doesn't make sense.
