I just ordered one! I've done RC planes and helis and quads and basher cars for a long time but never tried nice racing cars. Decided I'd give it a try this winter as a rewarding way to spend time while my other hobbies go on hiatus due to weather. Going to be starting with 21.5 stock class racing. A lot of the clubs near me have Justock 21.5 classes so that seemed to make the most sense to me. I say near but all the nearest carpet tracks are about an hour and a half away. Bruh.

If you want a better battery hold down, the Exotek 1828 carbon battery hold down kit fits the B6.2 through B6.4 - super clean setup that is easy to use. I ran it on my B6.2, B6.3, & T6.2 without any breakage.

Nice to see NorCal Hobbies content from a fellow RC reviewer. Reminds me of UltimateRC I’m also in the SF Bay Area and I visit NorCal Hobbies once a month. Maybe we should meet up one day

Once again, great video! If this is only 4 star performer, I really need to see a 5 star. Looked like it was on auto pilot on that track. Me driving it would have had the marshalls giving me the stank eye!!! All in all great job and keep them coming!!!

Hey man just got my 6.4 finished up do you have any setup sheets maybe for your setup at NorCal hobbies? The track I tried it on back at Idaho is a lot different but I’m now working and living in Morgan hill

Thanks for the review. Looks definitely like a larger upgrade. What worries me a bit is that for 2WD, Team Associated seem to have adopted the XRAY release policy of yearly updates. The problem for me is: I have just gone from 6.2 to 6.3 right before this came out. Would you recommend to upgrade again? I sometimes do racing, but not too competitive…

If you were gonna run this only on blacktop and concrete, would you recommend the dirt or carpet version?

B6.4D … D stands for dirt, I suppose? Why run these beautiful cars on high traction surfaces? Is that fun? I definitely prefer real dirt tracks, seems like more challenging and what the car is intended for.
