Hey Rose! That was a fun live yesterday. Without getting into the weeds, I think you are very smart to not accept gifts from people you are not personal friends with. I saw someone wants to buy you a potentially expensive item. Thinking back on it, when I was dating my wife, let’s say pre engagement, I never bought her clothing items, like dresses, etc…I was more a companion shopper with her, after we were married, and just gave my opinion on which dress to buy, but only because she asked me. She likes it when we go shopping, as I will help her decide. If she picks out 5 dresses, and I say 2 look good, and she buys those 2 and we are done. Once again, thanks for all your fun live streams. You bring a ton of laughter to people. I bet your daughter’s friends say to her, “ your mom is cool as heck”. And you are. Have a kick ass day.
Oh Max, I love hearing your stories and bits about your life and how you live it. What is the potentially expensive item someone wants to buy me that I mentioned in this video? The Tango Dress? Probably not expensive, but after watching some of the shows about how the queens would threatened their maidens by burning their dresses, I never forget things like that (also how one of the Queens was poisoned when someone poisoned the pages of her deceased Hubby’s The King’s personal Bible) I made a definite decision on the “no gifts from strangers” policy, confirmed by my Son in Law, which did make a big impact on me…his insistence that “gifts always have strings attached” and should never be accepted. I get you are the absolute BEST and most FUN person to shop with!! Love it when you have the time to hang with us on the show. It’s always better when you are there with your intelligent and thoughtful comments and stories. You really started a very cool creative bit of fun with this Party Bus idea! I’m going to play with that for years! :-)
@@teamrose thanks Rose. A few days before my daughter’s law school graduation, she commented she had been to 5 or 6 stores looking for a dress. No luck. I cannot recall if she asked or if I volunteered, but I went over to her place, we went to Nordstrom and in less than 1/2 hour, we were leaving, and she had bought 3 dresses. And it was all a relaxed event. I am not a person into fashion, but I think clothing is a simple, it works or does not. Good to hear your son in law is someone who can give you good advice, as your children probably look out for your best interests too.
