On Season 10 finally, how can it be that the CW try to expand on Smallville's premise by trying to do *more,* and yet somehow manage to pale in the comparison? They re-did Oliver's storyline with Arrow, and it became a Discount Green Arrow story, based off of what happened in Smallville. They (admittedly) do a bit better of having an expansive Flash story, and I like Barry more there, but the *world* and its *characterization* is somehow mostly terrible after Season 1 or 2. And the choreography is so lazy for most of the series... The cringe-filled, false sentimentality in the characterized interactions on the Flash have so much *cheese.* I could take that show, go live on an island, make Pizza, and call myself Greece.

@@AmitCinematicUniverse I agree that Supergirl's quality does not warrant its long run. I suspect the only reason it has been able to sustain itself is because of its overtly feminist message. Hence, the TV studio is willing to take a loss, in terms of ratings, because the show resonates politically with a certain demographic. However, if Batwoman is any good, they may no longer need Supergirl to promote a feminist agenda. At that point the show will become obsolete and in danger of cancellation.

At this point in the shows continuity, Supergirl doesn't know about The Flash. They are also in different dimensions. However, you hit on a problem I have with the all of the Arrowverse shows. The Flash or Supergirl could solve almost all of their problems, on any of the shows (including The Flash and Supergirl), in a couple of minutes. So, instead of having intelligent reasons why this problem should take more than 5 minutes, they have to make the heroes and other characters do and say really stupid things. Arrow is the worse-- The Flash could catch any of the Arrow's season long baddies in about 10 minutes, but instead of calling The Flash, they argue about Oliver's commitment issues for 19 episodes (and actually fight/capture the bad guy in the last episode).

I think he just decided to take a look at the series so he started at the beginning. It makes a lot more sense from a critical standpoint to start at the very beginning rather than jump in and skip 3 seasons

A few reasons. I like to go chronologically because that's just how my brain works, and on serialized shows, starting in the middle can get confusing. Plus, I wasn't crazy about the idea of needing to watch three seasons before I could even get started. I wanted to approach the show from the perspective of someone watching it for the first time. Having to incorporate three and a half seasons of continuity into the videos right off the bat wasn't very appealing to me.

@@atlanticocean8184 being a super hero show is no excuse for bad writing. why on earth would the police allow toy man to have toys in his cell when toys are essentially weapons to him. that would be like giving dead shot a loaded Barrett 50 cal while he was in a maximum security prison. super hero shows like all types of scifi and fantasy are allowed some creative license generally unafforded to other types of shows but must still remain somewhat grounded in reality else the show risks becoming to unbelievable to be enjoyable. for example imagine a scenario where super man was arrested and locked up. if he was just put behind some bars it would be to unbelievable for audience members watching as we would constantly be asking the questions " dont they know he can just bend the bars" and thus the sheer incompetence and blatant stupidity of the police would make it so the escape was not enjoyable as it was made unbelievably easy. however if they put him behind bars made of kryptonite then the scenario would be just believable enough for audience members to forgive the other logic defying parts. in toymans case it would have been far better if instead of the toys being store bought and brand new they made them look like they were hobbled together from things you might expect to find in a prison. this could be done relatively easily and would be just believable enough to make us forgive other parts of the scene. it also would have been far more realistic since usually in prison inmates do make weapons out of things that the prison gives you rather than things that are brought in from the outside.

@@atlanticocean8184 na i need people to get good at their jobs and learn how to write. sadly these days writers in all areas of entertainment have decided to put more effort into the political message the material sends rather than the actual quality of the material. like it is really not that hard for them to notice how outlandish the prospect of an inmate in a maximum security prison having access to multiple steel blades is and make it more believable by instead making the blades broken and sharpened tooth brush handles or something. its not like it would take shake spear to come up with this stuff. infact anyone who took a writing class in highschool could probably do it.

The movie is called Bring it on, has Kirsten Dunst and Eliza Dushku, pretty funny movie. The sequels are pretty bad though
