The climax at the convention hall absolutely baffles me. Even if you can get passed the wonky timescale nonsense, the stuff with the bombs was every bit as ridiculous. What was the big deal about the bombs if they can all explode without causing any damage at all? I guess we're supposed to believe that Supergirl freezing the water from the sprinklers was supposed to contain the explosions somehow, (as if coating the bombs with a tiny smattering of ice would be able to do that) but the resulting shockwave was still powerful enough to knock Supergirl out of the air, and yet afterward everything was perfectly fine. No structural damage, no smoking craters. aside from some toys knocked off the shelves far in the background, there was zero evidence that anything happened at all. Bull. Shit.
