The song being sung in the hotel is the opening song to Advent Children. Absolutely fantastic easter egg/tie in. Of course the start of Advent Children would have roots in Cosmo Canyon.

It's really crazy that bugenhagen was 130 years old. He knows so much about the planets, I want to learn more about lore and stuff.

Its hilarious that the teaser that came out in 2015 is just Gi Nattak talking about him and his people and has nothing to do with Cloud and gang.
