7:00 You definitely want to activate Shifter before resolving Razen, Droll is your best counter, and if Rock gets negated later, Shifter isn't even live. They had Borger to already get Razen back to hand and the fires to add the trap, so against a Tear under Shifter it's way more than enough, no point of taking risks like that.

The tear player was playing around Evenly when he just went straight to EP is the only thing I could think of since he had full hand knowledge but was there literally no way of killing through that board? Seems unlikely tbh They also used Tear Kash GY effect twice that turn
Both TTT spells need to go. Talents was fine prior to gen ken but with ken gen you're almost guaranteed to rip two cards out the opponent's hand for free via forced ash's/imperms
The TTT cards were always counterproductive to helping going second since they made top tier decks better. Thrust was a bit more fair since your opponent had to actually have monsters, making it cater more to going second, but it still got you access to cards like EEV and can now even set that new trap that is like a temporary prohibition on field. I originally thought gen and Ken were not that bad, but they will be powerful in decks with the room, but idk. I think they will be best in decks that are not normal summon reliant

As a Vanquish Soul duelist, the tear match up has to be one of the hardest forsure. Especially if they mill good. My guy forgot to read and get the Luxury of popping 2 🤣🤣
Not to mention the guy doesn't know what his cards do tbh. He didn't bounce back borgar in phase off of stake your soul, and if he kept rise heart in going bp and summoning fenrir mp2 would have been correct because then you could have gone add rise summon raizen add borgar ns mad love add continue bounce mad love for borgar draw one summon and make dweller, detach razen on his turn and then continue it out.
