Best explanation of these packages I've seen. Thank you. You've explained it far better than anything on any Ford Co website. They should use your video to explain it to their web developers. Hat's off to you!
Great videos, you’re the only dealer associate I see that goes out of their way to make hopeful videos. I reserved the Ford Lightning. I’m considering using your dealer since you advised you wouldn’t go over MSRP. How would shipping to South Florida work, however? Would it require several vehicles to fill up the trailer in order to make the trip?
Great explanation. Local dealer doesn't know OR acting like certain features were not ordered or special upgrades only available on top of line F150s. Guess they want to sell without 100% satisfaction. My ordered 2022 F150 XLT(just arrived after ordering in Feb) with Copilot 360 Assist 2.0 on the Order is missing most of the features. XM/Sirius Nav delete is on sticker (after ordering) even though I didnt delete it. Whole reason for upgrading my 2019 was to get the safety features the Copilot 360 Assist 2.0 offers. Can hardware be added later by dealer? If not I will opt to not accept delivery. I would have waited longer and accepted delivery if it was received with correct options ordered. Also F150 front fender badges(chromed) are missing and replaced with generic black plastic covers (a badge shortage???).
I’m getting the 2023 titanium hybrid escape when I can order it. The assist plus makes me nervous. Really unsure about how I feel with hands free driving.
Great video. I'm not near you, but the names are confusing and I've almost bought the wrong model a few times not understanding the terminology. So thanks.
Hi Barry! Thanks for the info, i have a question, I’m currently looking in the used market and it’s kind of hard to know for sure which ones have EVERYTHING. I want it all but no one lists it. I’m looking at high trim 2021 and above F150s, maybe even a raptor, do you have any tips for filtering out which ones don’t have everything? Maybe one specific detail they would list that is part of the highest tier 360 that would mean it has them all? Right now I filter adaptive cruise control on autotrader, but idk if that means they have everything else as well? I would love the blue cruise, but it’s never certain if they still have that on 2021s, I read that some of them were recalled?
I’m glad all this tech exists but what I want to know is what is the limitations to Blue Cruise? Does it only work on Highways in good weather or does it also work in cities? More importantly I want to know about the Evasive Steering feature. What if it throws me off the road or into an on coming vehicle? How does that work?
Blue Cruise works at highway speeds with the cruise control. Your eyes need to be on the road. Evasive Steering Assist assists in the the steering, it doesn't not take over the steering.
I ordered a 2022 explorer st with copilot 360 assist plus....Does this include the prep for adding blue cruise later????....Doesn't look like they offer active 2.0 in the build....Says in several forums that I can add the prep for future blue cruise .....Will 360 assist plus allow this to be added later.....Please advise
copilot 360 Assist plus does not come with the ability for Blue cruise and it does not come with the ability to add it later on.. You would need to get the Copilot 360 Active to be able to have Blue Cruise.
@@anotherreview5586 Correct, the hardward that comes on the Active 2.0 (blue cruise prep package) is required and then there should be an OTA Update giving you the blue cruise.
@@longmcarthurford who thought all these similar names were a good idea. also pre-marketing something that isnt even functional another brilliant idea. ford really needs to fire everyone responsible for these mistakes and confusion.
2 videos, of which neither mentions anything about Ford having a real 360 system where you can see all around your vehicle as is common with Chevrolet, Hyundai, Mazda, Mercedes, Nissan, Toyota, and VW.
This video was recorded June 2021. The Co-Pilot 360 packages have changed some in the recent years. In some models the 360 camera system isn't part of the Co-Pilot 360 systems but in their own packages.
The Ranger doesn't get the full Co-Pilot 360 Assist Package. It will have Adaptive Cruise Control in the Technology Package but didn't include Stop and Go or Lane Centering or Evassive Steering Assist.
How can ford be trying to act like This almost 10 year old tech is somehow new . It’s amazing how determined people are to not recognize Tesla! Enjoy your stop and go , Ford! Good job little guy!
@@FordVideoGuy yes, but I still have to pay for all the stuff that I have to turn off. Ford doesn’t give it to you for free. That’s like buying a Ford Raptor and then replacing the suspension and de-tuning the engine to be like a regular F150. It would be a waste of money.
@@MePeterNicholls until there’s an issue with the safety features and they become a liability. If you’ve never had an issue with an electrical system in a vehicle and trust a computer to be able to move your steering wheel, thats on you.
CoPilot nearly crashed the truck on the test drive. Horrible system. It's like driving with your Mom when you're learning to drive and it freaks out at anyone who brakes or turns anywhere down the road. Ended the test drive immediately and will never buy another Ford truck until it can be bought without any of that crap. What an insult to drivers.
You are dramatic! If you dont like any of these features you can simply turn it off! Even the super advanced Tesla autopilot system has its own glitches!
Any adaptive assist system will brake early if someone is turning in front of you. It just depends on what the sensors see. This isn’t a Ford only issue Justin.
