@@dixon807 No, there's a difference between paying for something you can get by farming and paying something you can't farm. What Techland did is pure p2w useless crap. Paying 5 bucks for a blue pistol is rediculous. Techland prefer to focus on getting money than releasing things accurate to the lore. Like he said in the video, even without Jai's quest you can directly use a pistol or a rifle for your first playthrough after the prologue.
Couldn’t agree more. The issue to me is it corrupts previously well meaning creatives, especially if they’re in leadership roles involved in the commercial side of the company. It rots companies from the inside out. They could be a shining light, a beacon for the industry, not a dying one. Pun intended.
You're just broke. Dying light 1 had 10x the amount of cosmetic content and yall ate it up lile it's nothing. Just because you aren't being hit with a major update every time does not mean the game is not improved and shining brighter than before, yall are just selfish
They’re horribly managed and just a horrible company. Their first game wasn’t anything special and their “dlc” content was basically dozens of reskinned armors lol.
@Mitch_Conner75926 mitch not even respectfully stfu dude ur just a worm who hates everything lol u even hared on goof updates positive shit and now ur saying their first game wasn't anything special get the hell out of here if u dont like this shit
It is not. The new game is dogshit. I could go play the first game anytime and have a blast. It's more than just a challenge to play DL2 for more than 5 minutes before getting unbearably bored at the lack of love, shitty bundles, corporate greed, and awful updates.
Fomo and the fact that they make getting anything take so long is getting real wore out. Can't play as Darth Vader in Fortnite since he was only in a small window of time and a hefty grind that takes you living that game 24/7 or paying just to get him early. Most of the time the games that do this have fun gameplay but they force burnout so you'll fall into the fomo trap.
I hate the "it's only cosmetics" argument. People will grind their life away for a special shiny skin in a game, once you start selling shiny skins, it takes a lot away from a game. Selling weapons and time skips is obv super scummy as well, just wanted to point out. Great vid 👍
Please add to that: Cosmetics do matter to a lot of people as well- we want to earn that content by playing the game- that's what made games like AC2-AC4 so legendary. When you paywall this shit, and add boring uninspired padding as a means to earn it, that's when you know the focus isn't on making a legendary game- it's about making a profit, at the cost of sacrificing one. To the people who use that argument to downplay our criticisms, I genuinely have no respect for you and I don't even care to read your stupid fucking hate comments which I'm SURE will be here
@@IlMemetor72I agree as its just a bundle Dl1 had bundles So why do some ppl gotta hate Techland for it? Yes Ppl can Share there own opinion but don't like hate or swear at them making them look like a bad company Techland is the only dev team that listens to our feedback it's kinda sad that every company are invested in money like EA & Activi$ion they are so scummy And money hungry it's bad not only for the ppl that play there games but for the Content creators as well i really hope in the future gaming will be whole again without the without the constant grind but Techland out of all the greedy companies Techland is the Goat 🔥
I actually don't give a flying F about Skins, I can't see them. What I want is an overhaul for the fucking weapon mods. Make them look better, add even more, more weapons, or the same weapon but diffrent look not just another skin splattered over the same weapon. It's stupid and having a brick (fling mod) on my weapon looks goofy asf. To the point where I have naked weapons. It takes more to kill but it looks better. Or just put ice/poison on everything since those don't hide the beauty of a weapon that much.
@@MS-nb2zgThat’s not missing out on anything. The game is exactly the same as it was day one. It’s empty with nothing to do in it besides replay their grind events repetitively or play through their garbage story. Repairing the promised surface level mechanics that should have been in day one is basically irrelevant.
You really hit the nail on the head with the "modern day gaming"-trope.. Games are slowly a. becoming a chore b. feels empty if you don't opt for the battlepass / preorder "exclusive" and it's exhausting
A few games are dying... and theyre seeing the last of the light. There's almost no hope about the gaming industry. Aside form the indie games, even then, that's boring.
Currently Dying Light 1 has over 20,000 current players, meanwhile Dying Light 2 it sitting around 4,200 give or take. Its pretty safe to say the game is dying, if not already dead. even Starfield is cooking Dying Light 2 right now by an extra 3,000 players. Techland went corporate and it shows.
Let's be honest dude dl1 yes it's still better but it's not because of that players are more there it's bc of btz an online mode that's a huge thing going on for dl1 if that wasn't the case it would've been sitting right next to dl2,and also we don't only count the steam playwr counts the playstation players too
Eh, i prefer dl2 to dl1. I get its rocky start and not anywhere near what i want bc of 2018. And yeah, the purchase bundles are eh. But i still cant let go XD I just want legend level 250 but its tidious without anything to do
Although I'm disappointed in seeing Techland becoming another one of EA sheeps, I'm still satisfied to see them taking down that Modder's paywall. Because let me tell you: There is NOTHING that I hate more about creators on the Internet than the typical "Pay on my Patreon to access full content" habit!
@@bread1189 There games that are better and fixed with mods. Skyrim for example another overated game that without the mods nobody would be talking about it.
Tencent and Techland up to no good again for those of us who called it and said that this was going to happen I hope someone picked up that goddamn phone because we freaking called it!
@@void-master9077 A bit of it, yes. That's called criticism. But the endless bullying and bashing ain't it. Positive/Negative reinforcement is the way, not this ''Techland is literally useless, all they do is make it worse'' type crap. That's just disheartening.
Only thing annoys me is that I've pre ordered the ult edition thinking getting the biggest any dlc and cosmetics I'd get for free but nope don't get any and it's Hella annoying
Techland released 22 bundles over a 7 year support span for Dying Light 1 with 1 major DLC released only a year after launch and 3 minor DLCs released throughout its support span. Techland has released 29 bundles in only a little over 2 years out of 5 for Dying Light 2s support span, released 1 minor DLC that was delayed 4 times and still came out as an awful buggy mess 10 months after launch, and DLC2 is nowhere in sight and no actual news has been given in... How long has it been now? A year? But yeah, I'm sure the new Techland(the higher ups, not the developers) care about the fans and definitely not the money they can make off them! Its not like they scammed players by releasing a broken, buggy mess of a game that was nothing like promised or anything like that!
Let's be clear about the bundles, if you missed an event in DL1 that outfit/weapon was gone forever but for DL2 (nearly) every event exclusive item is being sold as a bundle. I don't know about anyone else but I'd much rather have items still be gainable after events end rather than them just disappearing forever.
@kiopsm8825 Let's be clear about the bundles, Techland could very easily have put them on the Pilgrim Outpost website they already had pre-DL store or, y'know, they could actually focus on fixing their game instead of making shitty cosmetic bundles and lame events in the first place 🤷♂️
@@SpikedTeeth if Pilgrim Outpost was reworked then that could work, but why not also make that argument against DL1? And cosmetics barely take any time to make, techland releasing bundles and events (unless it's something on the level of Hallows Eve or Winter Tales) won't change a single thing in how long it will take them to release content or patches.
@lazyvoid7107 Oh, I've noticed, I simply am not going to applaud them for adding basic features that should've been in the game at launch, but you keep meatriding Techland, lil buddy, I'm gonna keep calling them on their shit.
6:03 fallout 76 did a similar thing. Its full on illegal in some countries to release a never before seen bundle at a ‘discount’ when there was never an un-discounted version.
@BulldogFromHell Damn, I am gonna try this. I have a bad time with aberrations, even with exotic weapons(not nocturnal, I really want nocturnal, but Harper grind is killing me)
My opinion on the pistol bundle: One step forward with the Nightmare Update, Two steps back with this bundle My opinion on the I am Legion situation: Both Sides arnt exactly the best... I love Techland but Jesus Christ i knew it was gonna go to shit when It got bought out
It really seems like Techland isn't releasing anything new into the game other than what should have already been there at launch. That's why we have the feeling that the updates aren't coming with anything new. We'll only see something really new in DLC 2 and I don't even know if I'm looking forward to it
As someone who loves mods in gaming and knows his stuff about that ecosystem, there is a golden rule in Modding. NEVER CHARGE MONEY FOR YOUR MODS! You can ask for donations as an optional thing to get support but if it requires payment to access it, not only is it scummy no matter how understandable it is, it's not your game that you're changing around. As for what you plan to do in the future, I'm looking forward to what you got cooking. Maybe make some videos that promote Indie studios with upcoming games as well when possible! I'd be down for that. Especially since you're so open against modern AAA gaming.
Look it seems based on what they said during the nightmare update tymon said the dying light development team is only 60 people which sounds small so I get why certain things are happening but i feel that they haven’t been as transparent enough with the community even though they may say they are, a lot of community features get overlooked or not responded at all , then it’s mostly ads for the first dying light which is okay to get new fans but not okay during times the community is looking for content info for the second game ,then when fans ignore the ads they are radio silent very often, last but not least they still haven’t fully fix the game still lots of bugs!! game ending might I add.but what still the biggest issue for the game is the environment it still needs a lot of work (factions associated regions need to feel different as they promised this during launch that would be different) moments a lot of the rooftops are the same and need changes, dark zones and GRE hospitals need new a compete rework ,updates to combat / need more executions (fix bugs during executions ) are still big issues not addressed and as a player who constantly plays there is not much endgame and I would say world wise to stay in for long periods after you finish the game which is sad because the first game had so much little details and the world felt alive and everytime you went in it always felt different and that what I hope tech land sees at the moment I don’t care about the dlc 2 or tower raid if the main feature still haven’t been fix because then more bugs will come since they will just add these new features that may not be fully polished I have no problem if most of the problems I pointed out get fix through next update but if ignore the game may just lose the traction it’s at
Cause there’s nothing new in the game, it has nothing in it. It’s a huge world space that feels exactly the same everywhere you go and all they’ve managed to do is add a ton of stupid parkour challenges and repetitive grinding to artificially boost play time.
@@Mitch_Conner75926 yeah, the main issue is just... there is literally nothing to do once you finished the story and most side quests. even the first dlc doesn't offer that much on the side of content. so all these updates that we got really don't change the core problem? What the hell are we supposed to do? The parkour update is great and all, but is still all I am supposed to do in the end-game? Run around, do some parkour runs? The night-time update is great and all, but the experience isn't that different from the original nights. most updates might seem "big", but when you have no actual goal, no task, nothing to focus your attention towards, besides the remnants of a mediocre and butchered story, then why play? That's why DLC2 and to some extend the tower raid will make or break the future longevity of DL2.
i think something people forget is that last year Tencent bought techland and they might be pushing for stuff like this in the game in hopes to achive a profitable live service game and not necessarily something techland wants.
The other thing is, people that make mods CANNOT charge money for anything in their mods. You CAN take donations for your work as a mod creator. Any company has to do this in order to protect their IP rights. Has nothing to do with people doing what you said.
I think the update was really good. They included earlier DLCs to the base game, added weapons and tons of other stuff. For free. It's called "Reloaded" edition.
Uninstalled 2 weeks ago Mainly because the game is still irritating when it comes to its bugs Co-op is still unplayable and there's nothing to do after beating the game Beating the game on nightmare just to get an outfit that looks like waltz ain't worth it
You couldn’t be more wrong about Ubisoft!…. They don’t want you to buy the $130 AC, they want you to buy the $18 a month subscription so they can constantly have their hand in your wallet and probably touch your beehole while they’re in your back pocket
The bundles have always had some instance of pay to skip or op items. This isn't new and the community has always let it slide. It's always infuriating every single time.
Yeah, a lot of people seem to forget that the Nutcracker bundle weapon can 1-shot most enemies until you get to the central loop, if someone has an issue with the gun bundles but not that, they're being a hypocrite.
@@fantapro23 well didnt dataminers found files for dl points aaa loooong time ago before tencent, i think onizombies covered that topic and other youtubers too.
I was just talking about that in an official DL2 Discord server and guess what? These people are trying their hardest to make a point where I'm wrong, that i can now see how all this affect people, players become corrupt too, just a brainwashed puppets, wanting to spend more and more for content, cos they can, while not realising the issue that might come in the future. I can say the same about my favorite Team Fortress 2. Despite all the bots that ruin whole experience, we've been making a movement recently called #SaveTF2 As many wise TF2 RU-vidrs said, we won't be getting shi* if we won't stop buying crates and cosmetics from Valve, it's like the only way, those greedy mfs can notice us. And yet, there ALWAYS be a bunch of people(half of the Community), that doesn't care and buys even more crates, giving Valve more money, despite knowing well, how they abandoned my beloved game. Hope Techland won't go the same way and IF they go, they won't be like Ubisoft.
I think a huge oversight in this video though is the fact that this bundle came out during the event that just happened over the past weekend with the infinite pistol ammo and in that event, they gave you a free gun so Techland has already bypassed that progression by giving everyone a free gun in their stash to claim over the weekend and have forever, I think the bundle just came out to capitalize on the event for people who wanted a different pistol to use, the pistol that is sold does the exact same amount of damage as the free pistol Techland gives to you during the event, so it’s not giving you any advantage that you didn’t already get for free in the game
As a casual patreon supporter of IALR, he did have stuff locked but i supported him cus he deserves it and wanted continued mod updates, idc about the toys in those packs at allm the mod is great without it. I doubt someone actually cried to techland about it, they probably sniffed it out themselves but if a someone did, they're a real bitch, great job souring one the greatest dying light mod authors to exist.
I love how the pre-order items like the XP booster is now in the store for everybody to get even though I pre-ordered this game just to get those items but now it's accessible to everybody that's crazy and some of the pre-order items are now accessible every who plays dlc are getting free why did I pre ordered this smh
My man who cares about buying a gun from the shop. It's literally just a pistol that's weaker then all the other ones. Not to mention that when you complete the lost armory quest you get a pistol immediately so it's not even like you are getting something you have to work for like the shotgun
Aint that the point? You need to do the quest, grind to get that weapon... Selling it as a bundle or "cosmetic" essentially bypasses that which takes away from the grind or the game... It all starts with one thing then leads to another... You may not know, they may make a bundle on other weapons in the future seeing that players are buying that pistol "cosmetic" to essentially get it early similar to a "pay to win" concept, you pay to get a weapon first that other players needs to grind to get... Maybe there may be a shotgun, tec9 bundles in the future because of money people spending to bypass content which is profit to them...
@@rlghost9675 my take is it's not a game where you can fight other players, it's a pve. yes it does remove the grind to unlock a pistol but since it's the weakest pistol in the game you still have to do the grind if you want to get a pistol that does more damage, and unless you do the grind so you can buy ammo, the only way for you to get ammo would be the military conveys which only gives 2 types of ammo per convey so you don't even get a 100% chance to find the ammo you need at them. I think it balances it out and although it would suck for them to sell a shotgun in the store if you did the whole grind for the gold one, I doubt they'd release a bundle with a very basic looking one and would make one thats unique and really nice looking like the redux rifle you can buy from the store WHICH I haven't seen anyone complain about at all for this argument and they only focus on the pistol.
@@justbeingfunbugg6470 I get your point, although its a pve, it still takes away from the experience of the grind to unlock, tho I guess its not that big of a deal for the time being but who knows maybe this bundle will be the start of other bundles that gives players advantage and remove the grind to acquire them like the generic system of micro transactions for early access of guns, weapons and other content that other games promote... There maybe other weapon bundles in the future, and may become a common occurance in their next updates and games... Essentially becoming another of those greedy gaming companies such as Acti**s**n, EA, and many more... And as time goes those "micro"-transactions wont be "micro" anymore... From $1.99 bundles to $69.99 bundles type of transaction
Don't tell me that they are delaying bug fixes for the DLC2 and Tower Raid, just to lock the major bug fixes behind DLC2. Cuz it starting to sound like it
weird how people complain about a weapon bundle just now but when guns were first released you could just buy the neon rifle and nobody said anything at least to my knowledge
I don't think Techland understands they're walking on a tight rope. If after all the 5 years of updates (which should be 7) and if these micro transactions don't stay like the original; Which is embodiment of unique and reasonable for the price. So help me god if they keep pushing like this they'll fall off that tight rope and push their company into bankruptcy. The gaming industry is riding on Techland and Rockstar to stay reasonable and fan favorite devs to get others to follow, because the whole industry is suffering from inshitification. So if dying light 2 ends up being worse and money hungry to the original I don't believe I'll ever buy a Techland game again. At that point I might just stick to playing games released in the golden age
Hey OniZombie, Thanks for clarifying where people are misunderstanding! The thank you pack only added content to the Stash. Which I know most of the mods on the Nexus use this approach and are entirely based off the stash system, but as a developer, this is cheap and can be done by a 100 line python script (meaning it's not even worth reviewing the code it's so stupid simple). Which is why, to the first part of your video, Techland selling that shit is absolutely cheap and disgusting, the most beginner modder could make that bundle in less than an hour by simply opening some files as adding 5 lines to a copied Package bundle. The reason I stated things the way I did, is that the IALR community knows (hopefully), about the thousands of hours that went into writing actual code and features for the mod and for the community. All of that content was always released to everyone, the thank you pack was something that could be made by any player by just adding the inventory items to the Stash, which is my mistake because I realize now that some people care about mods like these. The content created for the patreon wasn't even something I wanted for the mod, it was requested by my supporters, and so I wrote it for them. I clarified this in a later message after this blew up. Anyone who subbed knew they could add the stash pack, but it bloated their stash and so most people didn't use it, as it wasn't how I wanted players to enjoy all the new content, the dev time went into balancing and creating the mods features and content. Thanks for covering the issue! Sorry my message wasn't clearer from the start.
You get a gun with 16 bullets (you can only get bullets from one man later in the game) and 10 medkits,(found literally everywhere early game) so broken😧
Theres so many problems still left in dying light 2, outside of the live service model they’re going for the game is still buggy in some areas, parkour can feel sluggish during certain actions, co op animations look weird and the world design makes absolutely no sense at all when you think about it
Following this game for 2 years has been a rollercoaster of emotions. It changed so much in both good and bad ways, I just hope by the time they're done with it the game is consistent with the identity of the franchise. I hope your channel does well after you stop or reduce DL content, you work really hard and deserve success outside Dying Light.
Also I hate how people say „what if I don’t have time for grinding” because if you have less time you just going to get there, just it will take more time. If it’s limited, you can decide of you want to get that peace of content.
I do not agree at all with you. Imagine having to grind for a span of several months just to unlock something in a game...yeah most people would just stop playing completely. So to me it does not change anything really. Either you grind and you have the content unlocked but you are pissed, or you are pissed and don't even want to play the game
i emailed techland atleast 10 times saying i claimed my harran pistol but didnt get it and they never fixed it they just said it may be fixed in a future update…. smh techland doesnt give a damn about the community
Didn't TL publicly acknowledge that they planned and implemented the DL Points system even before TenCent came into the picture? That alone tells me where their heads were at and where they were eventually gonna go with this. Getting surprised at this point is just funny.
Easy solution, don't buy bundle🤷♂️ if the community is not buying any bundle probably techland is going to stop wasting time on cosmetics. But hey if they're still making some, must mean a percentage of the community is still buying them.
@@bhabhutiji1169it is techland’s fault tho I mean before even considering doing business with them they should’ve done their research, tencent already had a bad rep for being greedy asf
@@Alzrozax that's not how market works, powerful companies just buy out companies and force implement their new practices among them and mere puppets like Techland have no play, tencent can't do a direct business with tencent as tencent is a billion dollar giant and techland is a relatively small studio compared to the former.
This blue American Pistol was up for sale at the same time as they were giving away the blue Haran Pistol, so it wasn't a real concern for me. The Retro Rifle should have triggered this alarm. You get to skip the grind while getting a rifle superior to anything you can earn.
Also the whole “zombie genre is dying” thing is part of why I’m gonna make my own zombie game. (Also because I’m pissed off at the e3 trailer for dl2 and the day before not actually existing XP
Exactly why me and my friends doesn’t like how the “direction of game development” are. Why develop more good game if you can just make, say a cosmetic item, a bundle, etc. that can profits more than develop another game. And to make matters worse, dying light is a single player game. 4player Co-op at max. Not a mmorpg. By following this “trend”, Techland just smeared another shit in their face. Don’t even bother asking where is the DLC? There are probably infighting between milking more bundle or developing/testing the DLC.
You forgot to mention that when you reach legend levels weapons and armor can cost upwards of 20000 old world money thats 4 PACKS of that, the amount you get is pathetic
I think it's designed as a starter pack so it's just meant to give you a head start, not make you rich at the start. The high cost at end game makes sense because by then you can easily make 10s of thousands of OWM.
@@Supbro4541 I 100% agree. Frankly it shouldn't exist at all. There's literally no need for it in a Single Player game. Don't lose the message I'm trying to tell you. I'm only saying it's designed as a starter pack which is why the amount is as low as it is, it's purely designed as a "headstart" item. Doesn't mean I defend it.
I'm not sayin your defending it, I'm just expressing my level of being upset, because this game used to be fun, and its slowly getting ruined, I 100% agree with you too
@@Supbro4541 Fair enough. I was afraid you were targeting me with said frustration and misunderstanding my message. I still think fun can be had in this game, as long as you play it purely for a single player experience (or Co-op) and nothing more. I have a friend streaming this game and we're co-oping it together as part of the stream LP, and we ain't doing anything that sucks in this current version of the game. If it isn't fun when we try, we're moving onto something else in the game until we finish the story.
Bro the next story dlc was literally supposed to release like at least a year ago at this point, im really disappointed in Techland, like it feels like they are just murdering their game :(
My take: make all the bundles you want as long as it doesn't affect people that don't spend money, and don't waste time and effort developing the bundles over gameplay improvements and dlc's. Techland needs to make more money somehow.
Dying light 2 was already a grind, from upgrading gear (or else they would be obsolete at the endgame) to having to grind repetitive missions to unlock fun things like guns. The game felt like a ubisoft game from the start. No wonder they are using the same monetization tactics like ubisoft.
you know its serious when Oni is he's dropping f bombs in the vid. i feel you bro, shit sucks hopefully techland stop making dumb decisions. good luck on changes to the channel, excited to see what happens
I don't think a lot of people know that this is also a problem with Dying Light 1. Dying Light 1 has a lot of DLC weapons that are way too good for early game. A DLC weapon I used a lot when I played the switch version was a rifle that had a silencer but didn't need any subsonic ammo. I was shocked when I played the PC version with no DLC only to find out that crafting a silenced weapon is a lot more challenging and also required that subsonic ammo. Content bundles that made the early game significantly easier is not a Dying Light 2 issue and to say bundles like this are going to ruin Dying Light 2 and not even mentioning that the first game had practically the same system feels disingenuous, though I don't think that's being done on purpose and it's more just that everybody forgot that Dying Light 1 had OP content bundles as well
How do we generate more sales? Options: A: Put the game on sale so more players can buy it B: More in game events so players would entice their friends to play C: Put more or improve features in the game D: Be greedy and sell weirdly priced cosmetics with stupid basis on it E: All of the above except D How the f did they come to a conclusion that it's okay to sell an in game item for 5 dollars when the main game is already expensive for most players to buy? "It's just cosmetics" Oni is right though that's where it starts, they get away with this then you can say good bye to good quality content in the future. They're gonna be following the ideals of scummy companies like EA and Ubisoft. Great job oni.
Not gonna lie this update is stupid but if you don't want to buy it then don't buy it bro. I'm not buying shit in Dying Light 2. I enjoy the grind because it gives my grinder ass something to fucking do
I appreciate this post a lot, with oni saying something ( maybe tai and BGA will say something too ) they will listen too these creators *hopefully*. But it is so needed so we don't fall into money grabbing techland. There is actually a good amount of the community that doesn't look at this side. But if WE CAN get majority of the community on Twitter or to voice there opinions wherever techland is we might get somewhere
@@OniZombies I was going to try and attempt to do content creation for dying light since my friend group and I love dying light but I don't know what positives to talk about at the moment. And I can't think much differently content styles since dying light still doesn't have much to it :/
Idk I wouldn’t call it greed. Techland has been pretty fair with microtransactions restricting it to mostly cosmetics but also having some good blueprints as paid DLC too (I challenge you to find a die hard Dying Light player that hasn’t bought the Volkan combat pistol and silenced AR) Personally I’ve always found satisfaction in grinding my ass off for the best weapons but some players aren’t as skillfully inclined or have the time to grind their ass off for certain things. I like that having an option to spend a little money can help them out so they’re not missing out and can still have fun. As a player that grinded for my guns, it doesn’t take away from or hurt my gameplay experience if someone wants to buy a pistol. Besides, it’s been well established that melee is the superior class in Dying Light 2 aside from having a bow for long range support. I don’t mind at all that they want to add this stuff knowing that it’s going to help keep the game supported at running so we can keep getting new games in the future too. Microtransactions aren’t always a bad thing
I am so tired of being monopolized every second of my day. All these screens have turned into a nightmare. If they (Corporate America) could beam them into our heads, we would real trouble. I'm going to go back to some old games I passed on when games weren't so monetized.
At one point they improved aspects of the game it was interesting to see where it would go, but over time it has been clear that they don't quite know what to do with the game. I see no point in returning to until the story DLC is out.
I already spent nearly 100 usd on this game and they have the audacity to say “oh yeh, now if you want more content or to 100% something you gotta pay for it” it’s full on bs. I literally remember a friend getting me the OG DL for like 15 bucks and it had everything, all dlc’s all skin packs and special craftable weapons everything and now it’s just “oh spend like an extra 5 bucks for this special skin pack, subpar weapon and charm too” “oh yeah here’s a pack you’ll never get cuz it’ll cost you about 5k dl points or more if you wanna get it all” plus I had the most fun in the og game cuz of how I could get op and just destroy everything, I literally punched my way to victory the on my second file by using fun glitches and exploits in the game that they never patched after 8 years. it’s sad the direction Dying Light is going atm but I’m sure if we complain enough and give feedback we’ll get to the point where DL2 isn’t possibly some cashgrab that I wasted a ton of money on…also bring back OP weapons, Korek machete 3.0 is absolutely garbage I want a fun dev weapon that can make the game more amusing and just funny like the expcaliber. nonetheless there’s not much else I can think of saying right now but hopefully there’ll be more interesting things for me to do in the future that I can mess around and absolutely exploit to make the game more interesting to me…anyways have a good day and hope DLC2 and the tower raid aren’t going to disappoint.
I dont understand why people have a problem, for example, with the fact that immediately after the shot, Virals spawn, After all, it could be used for a preety reliable and bennefiting green trophy farm
That’s why I don’t buy games anymore because they all end up like this. Games aren’t worth grinding anymore because they don’t allow us to grind they want us to buy everything
So I'm guessing that Tymon is hardly in charge anymore because considering Oni agreed to an interview with him, i would like to think that there's some sort of faith for Tymon.
You're right so don't apologize. I'll be honest I bought it and I noticed that in a new nightmare playthrough I could use it right away which I didn't expect. I was a little disappointed, because it is skipping the Jai quest. Doesn't make sense why they would fuck it up.
I don’t play the game anymore but like to keep up with it. Between the terrible writing and the get old quick gameplay, I do not understand how people are still playing this game. It’s impressive.
I could not agree more, I've had enough. I tested the nightmare update, made me hate the issues I knew already even more, and showed me new issues I didn't even know existed. I litteraly am so sad to say it, but I am 99% sure tower raid will be bad at best. I have no hopes left. Though I still enjoy your videos and will continue to watch you. It brings more joy to see you rage than rage myself ;)
