Slide potentiometers wear out and video proves it so. You may have to wait to find one to fit or find complete assembly. Note you can buy part # SFDZ122N11-1 or -2 it is the potentiometer itself with the stop in the center to light the LED. Can be found on a popular selling site and it's NOS. Buy it new if you can.
