His own stupidity left the tooth marks on his victim... Yet he expected someone to turn up with a magic wand for him to escape justice. Glad to know he freaked out in fear when he was tricked into that dental chair.

Everything is a charade and a game to him. It is better - & easier for his ego - for him to place himself inclusive as part of the "we" with his lawyers and pretend his counsel are colleagues, focus on the trial as an academic challenge or intellectual study rather than experience the same and hurrtt he would feel to portray himself as the true monster he really is xx

Bundy is so arrogant and unhinged here. Minerva simply gave him the option to enter a plea deal. Minerva was doing his job. He did not declare that Bundy was guilty and he did not say he couldn't do the job.

It is interesting watching this so soon after the trial of Darrell Brooks. It is so notable how very similar are Brooks and Bundy, despite being from so different backgrounds educationally and socially. They both physically preen. Both spend so much time in what they clearly regard as dramatic pauses, both spend much time in pointless moving about of papers in front of them, and of course both talk endlessly endlessly and in circles. I've seen attorneys, different ones, years apart, say of both of them that they act as though they're starring in a court room drama in their heads. A low quality, badly written court room drama. Which, apart from the narcissism, it very likely WHY their behaviour is so similar...they're copying their mannerisms from the same cheesy sources.

Does anyone know why Bundy was able to afford three good public defenders whereas other defendants are typically only given one? I have always wondered why a man who had literally no real finances being a career criminal all his life could afford this number of public defenders.

Bundy sealed his own fate that very day..his narcissism was quite evident. He was extremely pissed that his attorney Mernova whom did an outstanding job on cross of the witness the previous day and Bundy absolutely did not want anyone showing him up he demanded full attention ..same during jury selection and questioning Bundy made it a point that with each potential juror he would introduce himself and ramble for a few minutes before introducing his attorney and turning it over to him. His histrionic personality disorder along with his narcissistic personality traits made him appear very arrogant and in his mind he seriously thought and acted as if he were the smartest man on the planet ntm he felt an entitlement.

GONE are the days when you can talk as long as you want, CORDIAL and EXTREMELY FAIR judges like this one; all we have now are black robes that pontificate on the bench and talk about their personal feeling and judgments against the defendants; judges that talk like God and most likely have failed the Bar sometime prior to the robe

Quite frankly if bundy would’ve just shut up and let his lawyers handle the case. They may have won The prosecutors were babbling incoherent arguments. 36:50 on and on.

Interestingly enough, the very “scientific bite-mark evidence” Ted was concerned about has since been ruled INADMISSIBLE due to issues of its ultimate lack of reliability! Most people, lawyers too aren’t fully aware of that. Of course Ted was guilty bite evidence notwithstanding.

They should have left it out. They didnt need it, and its pseudo evidence anyway. Alot of people don't understand much about bite mark, "evidence", and assume that it must be the suspect, considering the impressions closely match. You're the first comment ive seen that actually recognized it as absolutely bogus.

@@scentlessapprentice88I think the prosecutor knew that it wasn't admissible, but went ahead anyway, in order to emphasize the cannibalism, which could be psychologically effective on the jury. It excites a feeling of poetic justice: 'in a more just world, cannibals would be betrayed by their biting'

How come I know for a fact that you came to that assumption, because you watched the movie, "Bundy"? What you said is one hundred percent wrong and it was pure Hollywood. He didnt weep, he didn't beg, he didn't need to be carried in. He walked in on his own, smiled at a few people and said goodbye. Sorry. You were lied to. And everyone would have a diaper placed around them, under their pants to prevent bodily fluids from spilling out during the execution...it wasn't specific to Bundy 😂.
@scentlessapprentice88
@scentlessapprentice88 9 месяцев назад
There were multiple witnesses to the execution that said the whole, "he needed to be carried in and weeped like a child" theory was 100% pure Hollywood fiction. In actuality, under the circumstances, I think he played it rather cool. I would have been freaking out on the other hand.
