His closing is puts the story together very effectively. All that evidence laid out, tracking Bundy through the evening and night of the attacks, and then in the surrounding days, coupled with Bundy's bizarre court room behaviour - him displaying how much he was enjoying it, makes it easy to understand their reaching their verdict so swiftly. Bundy did NOT expect that.
Ted remembers more of what he did when he heard it from someone else (0.19,3.08)... I wonder how Margaret felt years later defending someone like Ted. Polly Nelson openly said she felt bad, Margaret good didn't seem like it at all.
I lost all my respect for Margaret Good based on her closing argument comments from this video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-oEXNSkXM0vA.html Any attorney who downplays the seriousness of such brutal crimes has no moral code or ethics whatsoever. Margaret seems like just the type of gal to do anything if the money is right.
@@Romulan2469 what did you think? Margaret good defended the bundy very eagerly. It didn't have anything to do with being anti-execution. Even years later, she talked about how she fought for the case in the Netflix documentary. I understand her because she's a lawyer, but Bundy didn't deserve this much closeness and sympathy. they were almost like friends, the same thing and more goes for Diana Weiner. The victim called their families and asked them to say they forgive Ted. what kind of morality is this! I think they are clearly disgusting.
@@Romulan2469 Yes she did, very close to Ted's execution, she called several families and asked them to write something saying they had forgiven Ted. I'm sure heard Denise Naslund calling her mother. Diana weiner has done so many terrible things, she's just unscrupulous.
He was Figgerty, anxious& worried in Court..I Doñt know how the Judge allowed him to Testify in Court??CONDOLENCES TO ALL THE FAMILIES 🙏 🕊 💐SO SAD, RIP TO EVERY VICTIM KNOWN& UNKNOWN 👼🕊🙏🌹
That's not how the judicial system works and it's not the judges call unless he wants a mistrial or issues with appellate down the road. You are, regardless of and despite your representations advice, allowed to testify if you so choose. It's your name on the charging documents. Not your lawyers. They can advise, they can tell you it's a horrible idea, but they cant prevent you from testifying in your own defense and if you think that's not true, I'd refer you to state vs. Anthony todt 😂
Larry Simpson was one of the greatest prosecutors in the United States and together with his colleague Danny Mckeever he brought this beast Ted Bundy to the death sentence on the electric chair. Joerg-Michael from Germany
How simpler and easier times were back then to have a competent jury who was capable of understanding the evidence and the arguments presented to them without prejudice, without wokeism / cancel culture, without a system designed to get murderers free etc. If Bundy were found guilty today he would be serving a life sentence and would probably have a dozen more movies to his fame, reporters queuing up to get his story, endless appeals making a mockery of the justice system whilst he lived a cozy life in prison with all expenses paid for. Try explaining the problem with all of that to people who oppose the death penalty, they probably don't understand it.
Don't you think there are tons of bundy documentaries and movies right now? Ted is still like a gold mine, people took advantage of him in every way, only premium. I'm not talking about the people who knew him best, Everyone he met took advantage of Ted. During his incarceration, he had things that most people did not have... family, tons of lawyers, sex, drugs, fame what else could it be. especially after getting girls from so many families, he didn't deserve to have a daughter of his own.
@@Romulan2469 i mean ted had poor when he lived but today hollywood, producers, everyone took advantage of him. same things happened even though he was executed it still happens, so the real problem wasn't the execution.
WTF!! He admitted the lot of it and wanted to admit more before his execution!! You're very sick!! Do you feel for his victims that were tortured r-ped and Murdered! ?? Dismembered and had the most horrific things done to them?
@@cansu10852 No, he knew. Like most of these type of killers, the murders are the most important thing to them. They think of them all the time, over and over, every detail. He would know exactly how many, exactly the circumstances, exactly what he did. He'd know everything ...except about the women he abducted, assaulted, tortured, raped and murdered.
The ONLY reason he ever admitted to the murders is BECAUSE he was trying to avoid being killed. What he wanted was to spend the rest of his life bellyaching about how unfair everyone was to him. Whining and lying. I don't approve of the death penalty, but I have to admit that in this case, it was wonderfully effective. It is the only reason that the mothers of the murdered women ever got the assurance that he was responsible for their unending agony. It was the only reason that Bundy's mother had to finally admit to what her son was, after years of her saying she wanted to physically assault the prosecutor. Interesting that...someone does their job, Bundy's mother's reaction..she wants to become violent. THAT said a lot about what she was truly like, the person who was the main element in forming Bundy's character.
