I wish I found you sooner , Ex army here and they never told or taught us about hearing care. apart from these are hearing muffs put them on. 30 with moderate/ serve hearing loss in my left ear due to a rifle exercise where I was exploited. It’s so sad how they don’t teach this in school in depth I found out all this to late. But at least I have good hearing on my right ear under 10dbls on all frequencies. All the same on my left apart from 3000/5000hz which are moderate to serve damaged with tinnitus on my left ear. Here’s hoping I can look after the rest of my hearing. And maybe by god’s grace even a decade from now they can genuinely create hair restoring treatment for the cochlea 🙏🏼 If only I could undo such a costly mistake even if I was in many ways my hearing was badly treated.
Thank you Dr. Ted for an excellent explanation of how our ears collect sounds . I didn`t know that`s how they work . Unfortunately for me I have permanent tinnitus & an audiograph chart like I`ve skied off a cliff ( profound ) I had numerous hearing aids which have varying degrees of success . Time to learn signing I think .
