How do we know for sure the video wasn't doctored? In the beginning of the newscast, a security tech had his doubts about the video. Imagine if someone deepfaked a video of you saying nasty, threatening things and your picture is plastered all over the news. I am offended by this young man’s words and yes I am a older black woman but I know for a fact that many times when kids behave badly it’s not because they weren’t taught well at home, instead some are easily influenced by what they see and hear on social media , not to mention the behavior of some of our politicians. Many times parents are shocked by the behavior of these kids . Maybe if we go back to the good old days when kids spent more time playing outside and doing chores and still do their homework we may have a chance of raising well rounded disciplined kids. This doesn’t mean that all kids will be perfect because we are imperfect humans but we would be more tolerant and kinder towards each other.

We are entering a scary new era where people with inexpensive off the shelf equipment can create a convincing video to slander someone they don't like. The schools boards and administrators are only concerned about the school and protecting it and not your kids. once parents realize this then they can control the situation. What you can do is sue the school for failure to protect from bullying, discrimination and violence verbal and physical. Get an attorney and make them aware of your request. And you can also reach out to your county discrimination unit and file a complaint against the school. The school is obligated to protect your kids.

What a useless Superintendent. Of course they say that they don't condone it but they sure are tolerating it if they gave him no severe punishment. He should have been expelled, not allowed to graduate with his class and have been reported to the authorities.
