Watching poor Teeny anxiously hide behind the concrete ledge while desperately trying to eat the food in her pouches as fast as possible so Tina and her siblings don't rip from her cheeks is so sad. I think she has learned to not only eat from her pouches rather than stuff the pouches and then eat what she forages there after but also if she stays stationary it can appear that she isn't foraging and therefore has nothing to steal. Clever girl.
I have been wondering the exact same. He stood up for her in the video where she pushed off a bigger higher ranking kid and she kept looking back at him so she could be more bold. That can only come from him doing so already. I think he shares food with her as well.

I had to make a second comment, it's so amazing to see Teeny doing so well. Before?...She couldn't even play because she was literally starving to death and just didn't have the energy to do anything other than latch onto her piece of crap mom and forage for crumbs. Now? jumping around, sliding around...she's actually playing! That's just amazing to me. What a change? WOW!

When I first started following Tina and family I was furious at her for her “behavior” but as time went on the old adage about don’t judge unless you’ve walked a mile in my shoes kept coming to mind. I am EXTREMELY claustrophobic (to the extent that even in winter I can only pull my covers waist high) and over the course of my life I have encountered many people who have judged my actions and a few who threw in “geez, get over it already!” to the point that I was brought to tears many times. I was to learn around my early 20s what caused me to be that way (won’t go into that) and I stopped beating myself up for something I truly couldn’t control. We don’t know what Tina went through up to the point of having offspring so her compulsive behavior will never be explained but by and large I do think she is a good mother who cares for and about her kids and I felt pretty shitty about some of my earlier comments regarding her snatch and grab behavior.😔. A lesson that many of us would do well to learn. Also, watching Teeny get to a point of the embankment she felt somewhat comfortable going down was so friggin’ cute I rewound it three times to watch her cute lil self spread eagled as if to take flight. And isn’t that just what this brave lil angel has done?😇🥰👏🤗

I don't like to see Teeny's food taken and skip over that when it happens, but I can't hate Tina at all, in fact I have a great deal of compassion for her. As you pointed out, it isn't wise to judge what we don't understand. Tina is the lowest ranked in a huge troop and I wish people understood what that means, how much she goes hungry and how much she is harassed and bullied. That's why she's so scared and skittish. Monkeys are relatively smart but they do not have our reasoning abilities, they don't understand cause and effect or nutrition and Tina doesn't know she was starving Teeny. She is just trying to survive and found a safe way to do it. I usually read all comments on Arrows videos and often learn a lot, but sometimes can't take all the hatred directed at Tina (and Gypsy). I understand disliking her behavior, but that doesn't mean you have to dislike/hate her. When people say cruel things wishing her harm, they reveal more about themselves than Tina. Anyway, thank goodness Arroz's plan has worked and Teeny' is doing so much better now. BTW I'm claustrophobic too, not as strongly as you but I sure hate wearing a mask now that my state requires it. I don't like anything constricting around my face or neck, don't even wear turtlenecks. I'm sure all of us claustrophobics will be glad when this is over!
Love watching her now its like a breath of fresh air so amazing seeing her play and just be able to run around without looking for tiny little morsels nonstop so happy for her. Am still sad about Kailey I really thought she was going to make it 😔

This is the first time I seen Teeny ride on her mom's back...glad she is doing much better. Even her fingers are stretch out when walking or running 💗👍🐒
Teeny might be growing and definitely filling out but she is still a tiny little bit a thing. And look everyone she is playing running around climbing all over its refreshing to see. She is a survivor just like Tiny. Look at her full pouches she really has learned so much on her own
I had such high hopes for Kailey, that I am almost afraid to get more invested in Teeny. She is such an amazing little thing! If left to her own devices, I am sure she would be fine, but I don't trust her Mother, sister & brother. She has 3 strikes against her from the start. I can't wait to catch up with her every week, I just can't resist. Thank you Arroz!

I wonder about her if she had been hit by a car or fell from a tree and got killed why didn't anyone see either Gypsy or Rudy carrying her body for a few day's? Yes Kate I am the same with Kaileys video..i have saved it but not plucked up the courage to watch it..I did try but that music Arroz plays when they're babies set me off balling my eyes out and I just couldn't face it. After her rough start she was doing so well with her weight and her place in the group being one of Grandee's girls..god help poor Rudy she us going to be lost without her baby girl..if gypsy us pregnant I'm sure Ridgy's girls will step in once again..I was worried Teeny was going to fall down from up high and we'd lose her too after all Arroz's work to get her fattened up..she's a lil fighter is our Teeny and there's nothing better than to see her with full pouches running from her family who wants to steal it..🇬🇧💞🐒🐵
LOL, those poor pouches are stretched to capacity on the soy beans! You said, "I think Tina will leave Teeny alone if only beans are involved". You also gave Tina a sweet potato right? Good thinking if so. But, I suspect anything left in her pouches will be Tina's second helping when she grabs her up and takes her to the woods. I feel like Tina NEEDS to be sterilized. Between being so low ranking she doesn't get enough food to make milk she's also willing to steal the little tiny amount her baby scrounges for. Yes, Teeny and Tiny have survived thus far but how many babies need to die because she's so low ranking and a shit mom? I don't know what your thoughts are on the female sterilization thing. Wow! Teeny looks great! Two vids ago I would have guessed she'd die over the winter...NOW? I'd say she's got a pretty darn good chance at survival. She may even learn how to interact with her peers. I'm really happy, this has been the high point of my day! I don't really like the idea of interfering with nature by feeding her and Tina but you really can't argue with the results. For someone like me that, in general, thinks they should not be fed by humans, I've had a change of heart after seeing Teeny thriving now after your efforts Arroz. I think you did the right thing. Teeny is a grown up baby now but every time I watch old videos of hers it still really making me cry and yet do not get tired them over and over again, I have almost watch all your videos but never get tired watching Dopey’s and Teeny’s videosI truly love them them.
I'm glad the others will leave her alone and deal out punishment but you have said and I've seen another time that the sisters will steal from her pockets it's sickening that they have starved her so much she hasn't grown. Tiny still seems a bit small. I hope she hasn't stunted teenys growth. Stealing babies food may only be done by Tina's family here, but the long tails do this often. Never fails, as little as I like greedy babies, this is wrong on another level. I was taught from the beginning that children come first. My parents didn't work that way but that's how we were taught. I hope this is for teenys best chance.

Teeney is finding her place in the troupe, what you can do and what you cant, shes not a the wee runt as she was when she was born, shes feisty to look after herself up to a point, she still smaller than any another yearling but not in stature or attitude,he personality is coming out and she takes no shit except off mum.
There's one thing that I have noticed that Tina has rubbed off onto teeny is she seems to be scared of her own shadow she you know turns the minute she hears something and I think that that is from Tina because she's always sneaking up on her and and raid your pouches and stuff and that's sad

Beans I will make her grow up strong. We much as I despise Tina maybe will provide some protection from the older daughter. Tina is a good mother as far as we know when it's not about food. None of them will put anything higher on their list. There have been babies mauled to death by their own mother's over food. I've seen a mother rysis throw a baby down a hill bc it was getting in the way. Most babies do everything they can to grab mothers food. Food can be laying everywhere but they want what the other has. Also as skinny and desperate monkeys like Tina automatically become picky if given enough food. Right here is an example. She would have scarfed up or robbed teeny of sweet potato peelings which are high in vitamins butas soon a she gets a whole potato she starts throwing peels down everywhere. Teeny will benefit if Tina doesn't change her mind and attack teenys pockets. It's a positive sign that teeny has finally gained a little weight too. Maybe Tina has a little more milk now that she's been eating well bc of teeny foraging. Kinda messed up. Teeny is basically working all day and providing mom food to make the little milk she usually does plus maybe a bit more. Teeny is so very clever. I hope she grows strong now.
Ohhhh that pesky TEEENER, she so terrible she still willingly feeding Teeny at 9 or 10 months old. remember Tiny was weened completely by like 6 months. I'd say she a pretty good mom at least to female babies.
I was noticing, Tina's belly doesn't seem to be growing much. Maybe she isn't preggy (maybe just wishful thinking) and she just has gained weight with all the goodies
Whats Tima going to do with this new born baby? If she producing enough milk? And what size will it be? Smaller than teeny? if it is i cant see it survive.
I had to rewatch this because, I always loved watching teeny and tiny, and tina too; she was just trying to survive. it always amazes me when Tenny walk right next to the alphas while eating and never gets her food taken. I don't know if this can happen but can baby monkey actually become higher ranking then their moms? this video really teaches us that in their society even though they go by a hierarchy system, they also have something we thought animals couldn't, moral limits and maybe understanding of cruelty to others. if tina lost her food just because the alpha felt hungry and that's the order to eat, her little piece of bread would not have been enough, they would have also taken Teenie's food also, but it just rarely happens to teeny. could the alpha feel sorry for the way that tina does this to her babies down to the last crumb that it feels it's well earned for teeny to fill her pouches? I'm interested in seeing Teeny become a mom. will she be sweet and nice with her babies or inherit her mom's way. whichever she is much healthier than Tina at this Ime in her life, and even if teeny snatches food from her baby, it's not going to effect it that much. I suspect teeny will be able to produce much more milk and intern her babies will have a better chance than she did.
