Tip for the spinning kick at the end. Just do 2 forward then hold that last one and until you reach him or her go to neutral then d, df. Dont need to dash then cancel then do cd
This is for only people that are struggling doing the cd4,1 after dash! Quick tip! The simple way to do it is after df+1,4 is dash forward (f,f) then do neutral (n) then (df) and you should see the wave dash come out. Example f,f, n, df+4, 1. Best thing to do is to try it at the end off the screen away from the dummy. Let me know if that helps.
Yeah, Kaz is both really punish heavy playstyle-wise, has risky (and difficult to do) offence, and his inputs are generally harder. Like it or not, consistent EWGF is harder than anything most characters need to learn.
yeah im currently trying to learn him as my second main ... my first main is hwoarang, but i can only play him because i was playing him since tekken 4 lol. That god damn EWGF ...
I have a problem with doing spinning kick after a dash and if somebody can't pull it off as well I suggest you use df+1,f+2 as a combo ender since it's easier to perform and it does more damage as well. If you take first combo as example it will do 64 damage instead of 62.
6349 256 I agree it's the hardest part for me aswell! Although I found an easy way to do the f, n!, d, df moves is to tap forward and quickly tap down forward, can use this for easy lectrics :) hope I helped
Robert Wood I know that, still can't perform it, the dash just messes everything up for me, doing ewgf no problem but can't do the same with dash before it
It does more damage but it sends them so far away. Hard to go for followup mixups that the spinning demon finisher can do. I have alot of problem with the dash into spinning demon aswell >.< any tricks for beginning players that use stick?
Finally a youtube video that is actually beginner friendly. A combo video of Kazuya that doesn't have to ewgf a lot at the start. Keep it up dude! You earned a subscriber. Looking forward for more videos like these.
Love the combos man. Just having an issue getting that iWS4 at the wall. I can't seem to time it right in order to get the df1,4 into 1+2 follow up. Not sure if I'm not doing it fast enough or just the initial W! hit at the start is different.
Yo great video man! Would you say these combos are optimal in terms of consistency & damage? I'm a newer player to tekken but I absolutely love Kazuya as a character. I've seen some videos of very high damage combos but can't seem to hit them yet. Are these combos a good place to start?
These are optimal in terms of reliability and damage, there are combos with bigger damage on youtube BUT they require special conditions (walls, floor breaks, rage, targets with big hitboxes). The combos in THIS video require none of that and work on basically everybody and in every situation. This is a very good place to start.
@@INCNetski The electric first appeared exclusively for Jin in T3 and Tekken Tag 1. Then it was given to Kazuya and Heihachi in Tekken 4 and Devil Jin in Tekken 5
You habe to try: EWGF EWGF df+1,4 cd3 64 damage and very easy to do because you don‘t even need to dash in between. Seems to be a good option for save damage :P
The cd4 after the dash is pretty tricky Do you have to hold forward from the dash or do you return to neutral then forward for the crouch dash? Thanks for these videos, by the way! They are very helpful!
the notation for a dashing electric wind god fist (or DEWGF) is f,f,n,d,d/f Essentially just a dash, followed by n,d,d/f. I had trouble myself and MAKE SURE you're going neutral after the dash
Im not big fan of your streams (in fact i dont like any streams), but those combo movies you make are awesome. I learned a lot of "basic" juggles to characters that arent my mains. And those cards with notations etc at end of every one of them are great idea. I have lot od screenshots with them in my camera folder on cell phone :)
noestoyfacil dude the whole juggling thing has gotten really complex and learning is without question. I’ve been playing since the arcade days and I’m constantly trying to up my game
I'm having an issue with ws 1, 2, 3, 1, 4, df1, 4 S! dash cd4, 1 Sometimes the 4 directly following the df1 misses for no apparent reason. It hits about 50% of the time even though I'm doing the exact same inputs (I think). Maybe it's to do with timing? I can't seem to make it a guaranteed hit.
For the benefit of anyone reading this later on: the issue is that you need to wait a bit before doing the 3,1,4. A cue you can use is to look at Kaz and do the 3,1,4 once you see him return to his normal stance.
I did this by accident but started using this instead of the cd4,1 finisher after bound from (df1,4) I use cd3. It actually gives about 10 more damage lol
Cd3 is has higher damage in open game but cd4,1 has better wall carry potential. Also people do cd4,1 because it doesn't push a body too far for you to keep up the pressure. The kick sound of cd3 is badass though.
The best enders for wall carry are df1>f2 if the wall is far, df1,4 if the wall is close. If it's very close you can try b2,4 or b3,1. At least these what I use to splat consistently.
By the way, instead of doing the second df3 df1,4: df3,2,1 is stronger, faster and hits farther. I'm new though so there might be something better about your version that I don't understand
0:54 is very tricky, it knocks the opponent very far after the screw attack. I only get the sweep after cd4,1 about half the time and the last hit always whiffs. Any tips for this combo?
It's very important that you dash after both ewgf's to hit with the b2,4 and after you need another dash for the df1,4 and after you should just dash and do cd4,1. It should work that way.
ewgf is faster and safe on block. ewgf input is same as the normal but you have to do df and 2 at the same time. (df= down forward 2=triangle/leftpunch )
Hello, just to confirm is it only df and 2 at the same time or is it the whole input at the same time with 2? When it says press simultaneously it really confuses me.
Help me I'm trying to get the Electric wing God fists and attacks similar to it as fast as possible so I can combine combos but it seems hard because you'd have to be quite accurate to do it. Any suggestions? I'm a ps4 user with a controller and I always use the DPAD... I really want to master Kazuya so bad
Jacob Himes I've been practicing EWGF for 2 weeks and i can already do 3. Since my dad is a Mishima player for 19 years,he thought all he knows about mishimas (wavedash, backdash etc).
Everyone, myself included, is having trouble with the dash to cd4. The issue I'm having is that if I do a short dash, I whiff and don't connect. If I do a long dash, a forward to neutral before the cd4 no longer registers. Do you back cancel before the combo, yourself, or simply let go of forward before cd4? [EDIT] I discovered that it's crucial to begin the dash slightly before the recovery animation is over to begin it at the earliest possible moment. In addition, if you dash for too long, you become locked into a tackle sprint and can't execute a forward to neutral. Dash early, but not for too long.
Kᶦᶫᶫᵉʳᵃᶰᵈᵘᶰᵈᵉʳᵗᵃᵏᵉʳ So wait, you're saying that the dash counts as the forward press and you can go straight to the down diagonal input? I'll have to try and test that method.
My problem is this: I do the full combo for ewgf, dash 314, df13, dash and the no matter what I do I either only get the sweep and the final hit doesn't land for cd41 OR the combo is dropped and the full cd41 starts a new combo. What's weird is it worked fine until the latest update.
I know as I said it used to connect and now it either whiffs the last hit OR it drops the combo and starts a new one with the sweep and punch being a new two hit.
Is this acceptable. Also poor me cannot play on ps4. Combo: (its up to u how u call the terms) df+2 df+1,2 df+1,4 -> df+1~f+2 or with RA or RD. Please help. Im a newbie.
Ima help and clean this up... Notation: df2 df1,2 df1,4 df1,f2 df2 (df1,2) df1,4 df1,f2 df1,2 doesn't aid in combos aside from being used as a spike ender or in floor breaks. You can use 3,1,4 in its place. It provides good distance but requires you to dash to end the combo with a df1,f2. It's also not very consistent. You can also do b2,4. Picks up very low and the less hits makes it easier to dash in and end the combo. A df3 is also good substitute and I recommend it. Picks up very low, shorter distance, and less travel, so you can have an easier time to dash and end the combo. Less hits as well so you can try different enders. Different enders: You can end the combos with df1,4 and it provides good wall carry with a small decrease in damage. If you decided to do a df3 you can do something like this: df2 df3 df1,4 df3 df1,4 Crouch dash 3. Good ender and it hits lower than it looks. Hellsweep. Good ender but it can be tough to dash in and do the entire command if you're new.
It's not input command itself. Lets say combo is ff4(ch) df3 df1,4 S! dash b3,1 ff2 as @2:31. It means your df1,4 is Screw move rotates opponent to FUFT (face up, foot toward) position and allows another piece of combo after it.
Quadraxon it just means that the previous attack must send the enemy screwing in the air. It's not important for your learning process of the combo tbh
Just a hellsweep motion but don't hold DF when pressing the 4. so just.. F, n, d,df, 4 rather than F,n,d,df+4 It is to note that this doesn't work for WS1,2 and WS2. To do iWS1,2 or iWS2, you have to cancel a Crouch dash which you do by pressing the back button right as his flutters his legs during the crouch dash. Kind of tricky to do.
Electric Wind God Fist. f, N, d,d/f + 2, or f, N, d/f + 2, but the d/f and the 2 have to be put in at the exact same time. If not, then it will come out as a regular Wind God Fist. The EWGF has better frame advantage on block (plus it pushes), and it's faster. Same damage though.
i seriously think Kazuya needs a buff make his while standing 2 a bit faster and his ewgf hit mids it makes no sense for someone to be able to DUCK A UPPERCUT! lol and I know it hits mid in devil form but by then your almost dead. some combos i have been practicing I'll end with hell spin and it wont hit and I clearly see his fist hitting the opponents lower leg.
Mishimas are already top tier characters. Electric is already the best launch in the game, if it could hit crouching targets then the game would be broken and everybody would play mishimas
Gerald Torres So basically make him the best character in the game? Every character has faults and theyre there for balancing purposes, not every can be overpowered
