Tekken 7: Lee&Violet - Staple Combos

To all people struggling with Lee's b2~f combos be patient. Spend time on practice mode, all the time you need to get them right. And don't be like "oh i got it twice in a row i guess i'm ready to play real matches now." Don't be like that, don't practice until you get it, practice until you don't fail anymore. I spent litterally one day, like 12 or 14 hours just doing u/f4, b2~f and it worked. Took a lot of time and a lot of patience but trust me, once you got it, you got it. Its like riding a bike. So be patient, don't give up and hit the lab!

Lee isn't a damage Character! He has good pokes, combos and strings! He's one of those characters who widdles down your health little by little til there is nothing left. He's essentially a rush down defense type of character who punish's well

For people who can't chain b2~f steps D/f+2, d+2, b+2,4,3, b+2~f, f+2,1 If near the wall, replace f+2,1 with f+4,3

No matter how hard I try, I just can't pull off some of these combos. They feel frame perfect and it's incredibly frustrating. I'm missing something for sure but I can't figure out what.

For all my struggling lee mains look at his foot for the timing of the b2 loops to start. The leading foot will scoot forward as soon as it does press forward very quickly.Just start with 2 if u can then build from there. You can also time them with his voice .

why do you list ws2,3 ff3 as easy, its very strict timing unless you got some secret information ?

I don't even own this game. I literally watch it for the slow motion roars (Mercury Drive, Double Signal, Pulse Blast....) I have Tek 6. But keep up the good work and pretty dope track too....

so it isn´t just me, right? while I can make a lot cooler looking combos with lee now he has only little damage...I mean he never had like crazy juggle damage in comparison to other characters but it was decent...now it seems like he´s been nerfed by the new juggle system...the biggest damage i can get now is around 70 (without rage art/drive and walls) and that´s only if I can hit the d,db4 which is pretty hard against good players...and then you have katarina who can launch and literally mash 4 and deal over 60 damage (really, try it)...well I guess it´s a new challenge

This video was made before 1.07 which buffed Lee’s 4u3 and b2, so here’s a few tips and updated combos from then and Season 2: *Absolute* BnB: (df2/uf4/HMS 2/CH b4); 4u3; b2~f~b WS 2,4; run; b2~f f2,1 You can do b2~f; b2~f and skip the one before f2,1 if you’re confident in your b2 loops, but both versions deal the same damage, just slightly different wall carry. Acid Rain (1,3:3:3), Acid Storm (f3,3,3,3,3,4), ff4, bb2, and b3,3 got changed/buffed in Season 2, giving Lee 2 new launchers and 2 very much improved ones. Acid Rain Combo (off-axis): 1,3:3:3; b3,3~f; (2,2,3/2,1,3); f2,1 Acid Storm Combo: f3,3,3,3,3,4; run; 4u3; b2~f; b2~f; f2,1 New/Improved Launcher Combo: (uf3,4/bb2/ff4); dash; b3,3~f; b2,4,3; run; b2~f; f2,1 The b2~f is tight, so you can skip it if you can’t pull it off. The buff to b3,3 also allows a conversion off a CH d3 into HMS. For that, try: CH d3,4; b3,3~f; b2~f~b; WS 2,4; run; f2,1 For some of these combos, you can end with WR 3,4 for more damage/floor break, but f2,1 gives a good wallsplat at most distances, which is what you want with Lee.

if you substitute every ws 2 , 4 that u do after b2~f for 2 , 1 , 3 you will get +1 damage on all of those combos and slightly more carry

a lot of these dont work on smaller characters unfortunately

combo at 1:04 actually doesnt need a dash if you start it with uf4 instead of df2

why does ws2,3,ff3 combo feel imposible? I never manage to link the 3 with ff3 edit: literally done it for 20 minutes and managed to link it once 5 minutes a go.

hmm nice combo's since tekken 7 came out, i trained as first as lee several hours to master each combo's i created, the best come out with that sky rocket kick, followed by stance then X ( most damage or B+1,1,(stance) immediately 3 ) WS 2,3 and immediatelly, B2 ~F , WS, 2,4 and when this hits, use Rage ( it will hit 94 damage) :D

I don't understand how to hit B+2 after Ragedrive.. It ALWAYS whiffs for me.. Lee is so hard to play... U never see him online because of this.. other characters have braindead combos but for lee they are insanly hard... So annoying!

not staple. For me staple only 4 u3, b2~f,ws 2 3, b2~f, f2 3 or ws 23. Change for liitle incoming wall.

I think his combo difficulty is kinda overrated. I personally just flow with Lee way better than characters like Yoshimitsu or Hwoarang. Just so much more shit to think about with those characters imo.
