I love how they added him saying that his ninjutsu evolved. Almost like he was missing from T7 for training purposes and coming back with his intense kage bunshin no jutsu
I missed him in T7 so damn much. Now he's finally here in T8. He is my only main since T5. I'm so happy to see him back, and with new cool moves and shadows.
As crazy as the design looks this might be the sharpest looking haircut/hair quality I’ve seen on a black man in a video game. It’s the little stuff in new games that really makes the kid in me smile.
The second area (after the floor break) has a bad contrast between the characters and the background. There's not enough clear distinction and it kinda all blends together.
Sitting him out a game to revamp him this way was such an amazing call. Looking ridiculously cool and the new stage on top of the Tekken 6 Jin stage coming back is sick af.
if you put story-wise about his t7 absence, he was theorized that he was with jin when the chopper exploded due to jin transformed, which master raven said that he needs to "retrain"
Glad I'm not the only one noticed the Gargoyle's Perch stage returning from T6. And also, the white wasteland stage surely remind me of Bleach's Arrancar.
@@lukehart7225 The first stage reminded me of that red sky stage back in Tekken 5 and the underground stage looked like the Gargoyle stage in Tekken 6.
I hope they still make those silly encounters with yoshimitsu & raven like in tekken 5, I love that so much, especially the part where raven teach yoshimitsu how to do ninjutsu if raven win the match
Never really played a Tekken game before but I’m familiar with some of the characters. Can’t wait to buy this game Raven will definitely be a main for me!
Raven looks more badass than ever before, and that's a HIGH bar to set! So glad he's back!! Wonder if Master Raven will return as well though... Also that new stage looks absolutely crazy!
I saw a little of kunimitsu as wel hope she still makes a return! But things are looking pretty great! Can't wait to play this game!!! So I will grind and practice T7 until it arrives!
@@TheAlison1456thats true for comp game tbh. Losing is part of the process and unfortunately people wont stop to be nice or mot trash talk. Thats just life. You either fight or dont.
@@Waltersop What screen? Where I can see edit: Oh, I already saw her. I'm wondering if he's an older Lee and he's the one next to Kazuya and I don't recognize him or he's the one with strange glasses with his normal hair next to Xiaoyu. It was good news for me to see Dragunov, except for Marduk and Noctis I don't miss anyone anymore.
The whole roster is very cool including this character Raven and Azucena love her name, I'm looking forward to seeing Yoshimitsu, Lei, Marduk, Steve many more
I don’t know why they couldn’t just do a costume swap scenario. Miharu was just an alternate costume for xiaoyu before she became her own character. Violet is still in Tekken 7 as an alternate costume for Lee; namco could do the same thing for raven/master raven
@@exiledhebrew1994 violet and lee are easy because it's the same voicelines and stuff, as well as the same model. Raven and master raven are COMPLETELY different characters. Even in gameplay.
She should have never existed. They barely feature black men in much of anything that isn't criminal related. Then to mention they made black man Bruce a female too seems a bit weird.
Raven is learning the art of shadow ninjitsu to a whole new level. To the point that his shadow clones looks amazing and apart of his combos to. Good to see Raven back. But now the other question is. Will his master come back to join the fray?
It's been almost a decade that Raven is back! Also did Namco Bandai brought Ka En No Mai stage back? I mean look at the stage graphics! It's beautiful!
Interesting how that stage is a different dimensional form of Jin's throne room. Maybe we're getting something interesting for that stage in the new story mode?
I might have a new main. Raven is scratching my itch as my ninja main. These stages are definitely fantastic. The main stage is the Heavens Gate stage from 5 and the secondary floor break stage looks like reused assets from both Jin stages from 4 and 5.
I feel like these new stages are tied to the story and some inner journey jin goes through. Like the chains all over the hands in the desert and an astral version of jins t6 stage
I did not even notice there were multiple new stages I've been analyzing his moveset seeing what new stuff he gots, it looks like haze stance is gone but we got a new one and more stuff cancels into it compares to haze, down back 2 1 has 2 more continuations to the string, back 3 4 has a new follow up, wavedash 3 has a new follow up, backturn forward 4 has a new follow up, he has the best rage art and so many clones follow ups in heat this is so cool
I think all the stages in this trailer are references to previous one. The first one part looks heavily like Hell's Gate from Tekken 5 and the floor break leads to an Astral Chaos-like version of Gargoyle's Perch from Tekken 6. I think the third stage might be a desert version of Heavenly Garden, specifically because you can see Jun walking around (and you see her crows frozen in time) as well as what seems to be Jin sitting in the small forest of dead trees, a clear reference to the Tekken Tag Tournament 1 intro. Very curious about the story implication of all of this.
