Wondering if there should be a CN:sui on the pin for all the heartbroken poison drinking etc? Even in this cartooney presentation it's a pretty sensitive topic for a lot of people...
Hey Oedipus defender here. Oedipus was adopted and never told he was adopted. When he learned about the prophecy that he would kill his dad and marry his mom he promptly fled from his adopted family to protect them. The moral of the story is be honest with your kids.
My favorite part is in Monster is Slain when first the professor gives the baron a gun to kill the werewolf which is like, "That makes sense, silver bullets" but then when Bernard asks how to deal with a dragon the professor is STILL like, "Here's a gun, go shoot it."
I don’t know. The Baron has style, ambition, pizzazz. He dresses up like a dragon. He’s a bit evil, yeah, but the villains have more fun. As an ace, I’ll take him.
k but the fact that julia folded up the 100yr old camera upside down and facing away from her without breaking it is maybe the most impressive thing i've ever seen
@@alexandriaspride Not even with a flared base. Jade is semi-porous and can easily harbour bacterial colonies. To heinously misquote Archer: do you want sepsis? Cause that's how you get sepsis
As an ace attorney fan, Jacob’s assessment of uncle being a man your father is married to is hilarious and absolutely correct when applied to the idea of Trucy calling Edgeworth “uncle Miles”
I'm laughing so hard at who they keep killing off and the repeated poison drinking. We definitely need a death counter for Edgar, Lenora, and the rest!
The comic at 20:00 might be Poe's "dirge for [Lenore] the doubly dead", but I prefer to think it's Shakespeare & Francis Bacon struggling through the script for _Romeo and Juliet_ very late the night before it's due.
Fun fact, poison is that readily available. I guarantee that you have several large bottles of poison in your home right now, many of them quite gruesome.
has storytime put the cats to bed? 1:19 is olive trapped (in a dead end job)? 2:03 she got there 6:11 olive jumped into the box 6:44 everybody is here 7:23 joy parkour 34:57 double cat stack 1:10:40 olive is here for scritches 1:13:16 greeting olive 1:16:47 olive stands for aroace representation 1:22:24 olive’s lil kickies and regrowing fur + joy over shoulder, unconcerned and better poops 1:24:47 joy yawn 1:26:50 olive so good + sneeze + needs to choose 1:30:45 olive’s impasse 1:33:52 tall joy 1:48:27 joy acrobat jumps 1:51:02 joy corner 2:02:34 overjoyed 2:03:16 joy directed away
1:47:21 absolutely broke me oh my god!! i love the look of this game and bought it after they played the first couple levels and played along with them, pausing as i tried it myself and watched their solutions whenever i got stuck lol. your dad's husband is your uncle
For a solid couple of seconds there I genuinely forgot people remember we exist, and was very confused what the Baron had to do with Ace Attorney. Thanks for being such wonderful allies y'all
"Uh oh, the witch is hot!" Did you mean: Once Upon a Time ? (side note: it would be hilarious to see some of the convoluted shit from OUaT as Drawfee prompts but I'm not holding my breath, not exactly a trending topic lol)
I can't think of a way to make that into a drawing prompt but now I'm thinking of an obra dinn style game where you have to figure out the family tree.
@@nadeen3157 I was thinking something like "this character is the beast from Beauty and the Beast, Cinderella's 'fairy godmother,' AND Captain Hook's crocodile. Draw what you think they look like."
@@hp8685 "Son of the evil Queen, grandson of Snow White/prince charming, and grandson of Rumplestiltkin" I would love to see that!~ OUaT's family trees are such a mess lol
I have a very similar camera. What I will say it’s very hard to find someone to properly develop the film. I ended up having to ship it. I’ll throw my photos on Twitter if anyone is interested.
i loved watching miss olive walking in circles between the desk and jacobs lap during the second ad break. she just could not make up her mind for so long lol
This stream was veery good as always, but I can't get over my excitement re Julia's new/old camera!!! I'm obsessed with old cameras (the older the better ;)) and I'm soooo jealous! My oldest one is a TLR from the 50s/60s which I love, takes 120mm film and works wonderfully. The fully mechanical cameras are truly works of art, and the fact that they work so well after such a long time is just a testament to that! Anyway, where are all the analogue photography nerds at in the SSS community!?
me too!!! i love collecting vintage cameras, i think i have about 25 at last count? and i'm very jealous of Julia's folding brownie. My oldest is an old box camera from 1916, but my favourite is an Ensign Selfix 320 from (possibly) the 1930s. it's such a fun hobby, and i wish i had more time to indulge in it. I just love how durable and reliable so many of them still are.
While I don't own a jade egg, I do own a jade orb. I will not, however, be doing anything gross with it. It was a gift from my father and I hope to one day use it as a prop in a TTRPG game.
The combination of my dad is married to my uncle fiasco then Julia yelling exasperated “HOW DO WE MAKE AN UNCLE” mixed with joy using her as a cat tree had me dying. 🎉😂 never a dull moment with these beautiful people and the producers! ❤
I feel like this video is for me specifically. I own one of these cameras, I had no idea how to open it AND I just played Storyteller. Thank you, Julia and Jacob for this! I needed it.
The thing on the back says it's from the library of babel, the theoretical library that contains every single thing that can be written (it's like the infinite monkey typewriter thing, except they're all in books)
I kid you not, I literally got an ad for this game yesterday, and watched through the whole ad because it seemed interesting. I even looked up the game.
Perfect Ace rep tho; only interested in power, loves cliffing people and dressing up as a dragon, practically immortal. (This is a joke and I'm also Ace lmao)
I like how the background music is the nutcracker but with all the trills and difficult extraneous parts of the melody removed so it’s simpler and easier to play for the musician they hired 😂 great work team
'she has to be in old mode to frog up snowy, and then she cauldrons again and looks in the mirror' has got to be one of those sentences that no one has ever said before on this earth xD
35:40 exemplifies why jacob is a key player for drawfee and sleepover. Forethought and order. He immediately notices that julia's gameplay is quickly turning into brute force gameplay which is not what anyone wants to see for a 2 hour stream
Think that might also be a bit of the dynamic between the two of them; they have quite different approaches to things, which complement eachother, as well as the other Drawfee hosts'.
I really enjoyed this game, but finishing it in one afternoon left me wanting like a hundred more puzzles. Or some kind of free-for-all mode unlocked at the end where you can just use everything.
