The soundtrack for HIII is my favorite score of all the Halloween movies. I play the Limited Edition CD with the extra bonus tracks, every Halloween night, using a keyboard amp with a big 15” driver, that faces out my open front door.🎃

This move got so much hate when I was a kid back in the 80s all because Myers isn't in it. Now I'm glad people appreciate the story for what it is. It is a treasure of a movie.

Halloween III was actually the first Halloween movie I ever saw, when it first came on cable & I was 10 years old. I later became a HUGE Michael Myers fan (Halloween 1978 is my all-time favorite horror film), but I've always loved Halloween III; I think it's one of the best stand-alone horror films of the 1980s...

I’m a huge Halloween 3 fan and to think I ignored it for years due to it not featuring Michael. First time I watched it a few years ago i was in awe of how good it was and now it’s one of my all time favorite films in the franchise. In fact it’s my second favorite after the original.

So the first time I remember seeing Halloween 3 was on TNT in the mid 90’s. My mom and I stayed up watching Halloween , Halloween 2 and Halloween 3 on a school night. I remember not caring for the movie either way and Remember my mom telling me before it started that Michael Myers wasn’t in it,lol. Then I seen it again probably in 2003 when I bought all the films on dvd and fell In love with the film. Been hooked ever since

My favourite of the franchise also, whenever I hear the opening credits score it gets me pumped for halloween time.

Looking forward to seeing this movie at my local drive-in here in Memphis on Friday during the Job Bob Drive In Jamboree. Tom Atkins, Tommy Lee Wallace, and others will be in attendance. So stoked!

I've always liked Halloween 🎃🧙‍♀️💀 III. From the Eerie feel of the town to the sinister aura of Cochran. I even remember how much of a fun thrill ride it was when first watching the premier on network TV 📺 lol. Now I feel so fortunate to own a VHS copy of this Halloween. To think that it was a flop due to Michael Myers not being part of the story is actually mind-blowing to me hence all the creativity that went into making the film. In fact I enjoyed this entry so much that at first I thought they would've carried some aspect of 3 into 4! At least we would eventually get it later on with Halloween (2018). Halloween 3 is clearly like a fine wine...it just gets better with time!🎃🎃🎃🎃🎃

I became a big fan of Halloween 3 since i first saw it back in the 80s and it was a dream come true for me to have met Tom Atkins At the Flashback weekend end in 2019 and to be wearing my H3 T-shirt when I got my picture taken with him was awesome, but i Also got my H3 DVD signed too and asking Tom could he do it with a gold marker as i said to him the movie is like gold to me.

I love this channel for talking about underrated horror classics.

Huge fan of this movie but had not heard about the TLW book. I am definitely pre-ordering. Couple of comments. Ending was perfect. Cochran character was portrayed perfectly by Dan O'Herlihy. Could have come across as corny, but his portrayal nailed it. Thanks for the video.

I love Halloween 3! Ridiculously underappreciated. It just gobsmacked me the first time I saw it in the multiplex. I saw the first two and read in Fangoria that this was something different and thought, cool. A movie anthology about the rich lore of All Hallow's Eve. The movie was not disappointing to me in the least. Then the ugly specter of America's growing ignorance rose up. I still shake my head at the gleeful stupidity of these twits groaning about "no Michael Meyers waaah". While I'm at it, I despise 4, 5, and 6. The dollar store mask Michael wears in 4 is the glaring clue of the downturn in quality in store for viewers. The end result of this trilogy of garbage is Michael Meyers rapes and impregnates his niece. Then kills her by penetrating her again, this time with a farm implement. Who wrote this shit, Bob Guccione and Jared from Subway? Anyway, I enjoy your intelligent commentary about horror flicks.

Respect For Tom Atkins. He picks up two strangers and beds them both(Nelkin and Curtis) in a matter of minutes(H3 and the Fog).

As a kid this was my favourite movie for 5 years, so i understand your love for it. I saw both this and the original for the first time in the mid 80's and watched this a few times every week for a few years. I still really love it, but my tastes have slightly changed and some of the other Halloween movies now rank above it for me. I love the ending and i'm glad the studio objections to it were ignored. While the concept of gruesomely killing a bunch of kids might be dark, it's still fun. Lol maybe i should have rephrased that it's made me sound like a psycho, but i hope you get how i mean.

It's hilarious that the Halloween III book has in the title 'Where the hell is Michael Myers'. I said the same thing when I saw the movie when I was fifteen. After 40 minutes in I realized this wasn't a Michael myers Halloween movie. I like the dark ambiguous ending to season of the witch.

Those were some really cool facts about Halloween three I had never heard about Joe Dante possibly directing the movie it would have been cool but as you said it probably would have been a different movie I had always stayed away from this movie growing up because I heard it was bad but then years later I recorded it off of cable TV and loved it the first time I saw it I now own the Blu-ray plus the new 4K set of it

H3 is a Masterpiece. Met Tom Atkins at London Film And Comic Con 2018, got my pic with him and a signed 10x8 which is framed in my mancave along with the pic. Halloween III Season Of The Witch premiered on British Television on Friday 31st October 1986 on BBC1. I was able to understand that Michael Myers didnt feature in it which was fine as I had only seen the original film the week before on ITV. I didnt see the first 1981 sequel until two years later, which is my own personal favourite. H3 was a shocker alright, we got the full uncut version for sure, I remember the tramp getting his head ripped off left me cold and Marge's death was awful. What the hell, I was 10 at the time. Aah the 1980s...the future video and DVD releases of H3 would have gory scenes trimmed courtesy of the British Board Of Film Classification. I remember first seeing it on a VHS rental and feeling it was less gory and Instinctively I knew it had been cut, this was long before you could chat or comment about it on the internet. Thankfully I got the Scream Factory blu ray from your country and the quality of the audio and picture is the best I've ever watched, plus a ton of extras. I even have the H3 novel by Jack Martin who's real name is Dennis Etchinson , you probably remember now right Christian? Lol I'm forgetting things a lot myself nowadays. Anyway, that book is Gold because its sought after and I will never part with it. For me, the 1978, 1981 and 82 Halloween movies are the best in the entire franchise. The rest of the Halloween films are standard horror entertainment. Although H4 has really grown on me in the last thirty years. Great video mate, keep up the great work.

Definitely My favourite movie out of the franchise

Halloween 3 is my third least favorite in the franchise. I still every few October's pop it in and give it a chance. When the Scream Factory 4K's of 1-5 came out last year, I skipped on 3. I think I'll only pick it up with a complete 4K box set comes out.

Without question, the 1978 original will always be the ultimate of the films. However, over the decades, I have acquired a healthy liking for Halloween III. I love the Celtic Witchcraft Gothic Horror aspect of it. In retrospect, it's very Twilight Zone-esque. I've always believed that the third TV channel manages to turn it off just in time, before the trick on the children was played. I've always pondered: What came next? What happened to all of the Silver Shamrock masks? How did the rest of Halloween Night turn out, in 1982? What I have always hated is: The lackluster Box Office proceeds from this film, kept the promise of Carpenter and Hill's proposed Halloween Anthology from officially happening. I'm still intrigued to know what that Halloween ghost story was going to be about, in 1983 or 1984. I'm still hoping that, after Halloween Ends, Blumhouse and Akkad relaunch that collection of unrelated Halloween-themed films. I would be there Opening Night, if it looked promising. Thanks, Man.
