@@williammabon6430 Not hating at all brother, just stating my opinion. It's quite clear that the ladies need more practice. The leading dance lines (i.e. Stingettes and Dancing Dolls) provide a great example of a complete, cohesive dance team. IJS. :)
@@DelmusicLover I do not know what it is you see or do not see in these ladies performance. I suspect you look to much toward cadence and conformity of motion. Yes, team dance do require extensive drilling and attention to group cohesion to make any performance attractive. The work when it is good is grinding, repetitive and it adds to the artistry in the performance. However, unlike you, I see all of this dedication to detail you seem to miss. Here are a few of those points I'd like you to consider. 1. Most of this choreography requires crisp and swift movements. 2. Their routine require constant change in the motion of the torso 3. They incorporated individual poses without missing their return to the group cadence 4. They kept their balance between performers by maintaining clear separation 5. Ok need I say it. The choreography has a soft approach and it is cutely sexual 6. Unlike present HBCU dance teams this performance is deliberate in the freedom of motion these ladies want to express. Each of these dancers speak to the audience on both the individual and group level awhile maintaining a theme of unity with the audience. What I'm saying is the audience is invited to dance with them and not simply watch
@@DelmusicLover lmaoo good point but child .. the days of the leading dance lines are over ... The divas , orchesis, both of the GG's and many more have stepped on the scene
really?!! i guarantee you. they will hear it .. in the band room the dancers had one job. ..11:21 👯♂️👯♂️ the music stop. that just looks wrong overall drum majors had one job i did not see any "leadership" out there
Some people are so sensitive- they’re entitled to their opinion. If something didn’t look right fuckin say it (whoever the band director is might need to correct somethings). Always crying and shit
@@ROLLIN-DUB I agree with you, there is a saying, practice makes perfect, a good director and teach make a great band, I love these young men and women, keep reaching for the stars, and be the best you can be👍
I am a fan of bands and love the swac but I don’t get the feel of war from this drum section. Starting out marching in. I don’t get chills like here we come and we bringing smoke. It’s more of we just chillin and hanging out. Not a feeling of whoever across that field better be ready for war. Just my opinion.
Aight now..loving the outfits and the masks......yes.. ..u know im n the wrong state.(im n Massachusetts)......I love stuff like this....yall better gett it....screaming yes work it........
OK what’s going on with the drum cadence!? That cadence is garbage especially the beginning!!! Before you start hating I didn’t say the drummers are bad I’m quite sure the very skilled musicians in fact I know they are... Great school great dancers great band!!! Sorry sorry sorry cadence!!! Just saying...
I wish these Swac dancers could originate their style?? Geeeeeshhhhh🤮🤮🤮 Can THEE Prancing JSettes paaaaaaaalease stop being copied?!!!!!! Originate your own style it's not hard!!!
They have their own style. They played with that j-settle style with their own I have to admit. The most recent show was more of what I have seen from them since 2019. I don’t want to see them become a J-sette or Golden Girl mirror.
