I really wish I had the DCF floor in mine - I have one of the older versions. The one you have has many improvements. Super solid setup. When it gets hot in the summer you may want to swap the sleeping bag for an inexpensive light quilt.

The X-Mid is a fantastic tent, made only better with the Pro version! Great call on that! Equally, Osprey makes great packs that carry sooooo well! Yes, it's heavier than the UL bags, but it feels so much better (at least for me). I have the Atmos and it's my go-to. It's a great pack! Synthetic bag will certainly do the job, but oh, the c"ompressability" of down... Smiles, not miles!

Good luck I'll keep my fingers crossed that this year is not like last year in terms of rain. It was like a monsoon on the entire east coast all the way through June.

Get you some decent tent pegs Walmart has some that are basucly a realy long naik with plastic on top where you can tie your anchor lines to The cheap ones you had in last video are trash
