Wrong insertion. Delete this misleading demonstration

I appreciate your feedback. You're absolutely correct; I made an error, and I'll ensure to rectify the position of the insertion when I review this video in the future. It would have been beneficial if you could have not only pointed out the mistake but also provided an explanation. This way, others reading the comments could learn from it. In my videos, I often emphasize that making mistakes is part of the learning process. When someone identifies a mistake and shares it, both parties benefit. The person pointing out the mistake gains a deeper understanding, while the recipient can take constructive action. Simply deleting the video wouldn't address the underlying issue. Nevertheless, thank you once again for your input, and have a great day.

sorry i had to reupload this one,.. please note this is a model and even though i sit for days and try my best, i do make mistakes or i am simply not able to animate everything to perfection. one more thing regarding the functions of this muscle: take a couple of books and you will find a couple of different functions stated. i used these examples because they give an broad insight. i m sure you can find more than the ones shown,..

This little sucker flaired up on me and was the cause of my shoulder pain for 4 months until someone finally found it and released it. I will never forget this muscle.

Is the shoulder blade supposed to stay completely still when you externally rotate the arm? I'm looking at 0:57 and trying it and my shoulder blade is moving a lot. I had a shoulder injury so am trying to learn about the shoulder and narrow down what I can and can't do properly. It seems like it moves a little on my good shoulder and a lot on my bad shoulder.

that’s a multilayered question,.. I d say the shoulderblade will move a little when you rotate, due to it fasciae connections, but with a little control you can isolate the rotation, so the blade will be still. I don’t know what your injury was, but if there is still a lot of scar tissue the shoulder blade will move more because everything is still tensed up and shortened I hope this kind of makes sense but there’s a lot of information that is needed to make a proper assessment have a good one and good luck with your recovery just get a good physiotherapist or osteopath they will help you! alex
