these are great performances and important teaching! Watching Garrick Ohlsson's hands listening to the music, hearing Madeline Albright's and Anna Ornsteins life stories, and seeing the gospel and Jazz musicians working together/apart will stay with me. I must admit, I have not wanted to watch performances this way; this is my first....and I am glad I experienced this powerful message through music. Kim Saul, Stockbridge MA

who would have ever dreamed that TMF would find another way to remember the lives of those we lost in their fight against tyranny. it came when we learned how much we are dependent on each other when we had to distance ourselves to stay safe.

What a spectacular production, so emotional and flawlessly done. All were just superb. This Gala was as always an affecting tribute to the beloved musicians lost in the Holocaust, with moving topical references included as well. Bravo.

Beautifully presented and performed, Bravo! And, thank you for the ongoing effort to bring this music to public consciousness! To think, if the "Holocaust Era" composers had survived, it's quite likely that the mass of 20th century music could have been deflected into a different direction.
