It was about time. I feel you’all need new board and new superintendent. You need to clean house. All accountable for this tragedy. Don’t give up. Blessings to all Uvalde and prayers.
These amazing families show so much strength, I would give anything to by their sides, in person, supporting them in their efforts to make legitimate justice occur. Those children and teachers, and that poor man dying of a broken heart hours after his wife died deserve the truth, kindness, and resolution. Uvalde Strong!
That poor man that died after hours of death of his wife WAS KILLED By Pete Orredondo and his illegal actions as school chief police there!?!?!?! Justice! For those 4 children- orfans left BY ACTIONS of Pete Orredondo!?!?!
I hear Pete fears for his safety. Aw what a shame there's nobody to tell people what to do about it. I guess he's on his own just like those who were slaughtered and got no aid.
We in San Antonio/New Braunfels have not forgotten Uvalde. Keep fighting and remain strong, we stand beside all of you! Your fight is our fight and you will always remain in all of our prayers. This Uvalde tragedy has affected almost every parent to some degree. Obviously no where near how much these families have been, but it has opened our eyes and made us see that our babies aren’t safe. They will continue to be unsafe until change has been made. Change the laws, and up the age of purchasing guns. Make sure the officers protecting our community are trained and well equipped to take out a threat as soon as it is detected. Prepare for the unexpected! Until all of these things are done, I will not rest easy sending my girls off to school every day. Again, stay strong Uvalde! You have no idea how MANY people are backing you, and we will NEVER forget the angels who senselessly lost their lives on that day. #UvaldeStrong
After watching this unfold from the beginning I have learned so much from these strong survivors. What incredible people they are. So intelligent, well spoken. I have so much compassion and admiration for this community even though I live in Florida. I suggest replacing the entire school board and city council. Replace the city council with regular citizens like the ones in this auditorium. The Latino gentleman on stage rushing things along and threatening to stop people from speaking is particularly egregious. Dr Harrel who seems like a decent enough person is too old to be in his position any longer. They need fresh eyes and fresh minds here that notice potential problem BEFORE they happen. They refused to do the right thing until they had absolutely no other choice. I’m disgusted with the the administrators of this town. And ALL the law enforcement that was involved too. Shameful cowards.
Every officer on scene should face consequences from suspension, to firing, to jail time. Arredondo should already be behind bars. The officers attacking parents outside should be behind bars. Why are these families still waiting for justice?
