James and Mason alternate between my conscience and my inner animal. Hearing Mason sarcastically tell me to do the right thing is almost as awesome as teacher James begrudgingly telling me to go ape-shit.
I really liked it in Dark Fate that the Rev-9 seemed like it was genuinely trying to kill its target and didn't just want to throw her around a bit, really made it feel like the most dangerous terminator since the T-1000.
I can't wait until the next Terminator 3 that ignores Dark Fate, Genisys, Salvation, The Sarah Connor Chronicles and the first T3. It's gonna be great lol
They should make a high-budget streaming series that follows the resistance up to the point in which Kyle Reese is sent back in time. A slow burn prequel/sequel to bring the franchise full circle. I wouldn't even have John Connor show up in person until the final season. His exploits and legend would be what the resistance talks/argues about among themselves. Maybe we see some graffiti messages or hear radio broadcasts from him to inspire the resistance and see them slowly embrace him as their leader. The series would begin with Judgement Day happening in the first episode, and honestly it's pretty similar in concept to Battlestar Galactica but not in space, I don't think that's a bad thing though.
I think NO MORE SEQUELS. T1, T2, and Dark Fate form a single great story. You don't need to see the new Judgement Day with Legion, and you don't need Dani to lead another battle. It's already established that this cycle will keep happening. The whole point is that even though we're doomed, heroes like John and Dani will always rise to the occasion. It speaks for itself. NO MORE SEQUELS.
@@user-Bean55645 My preferred timeline is also the extended cut of T2 where the future's bright, but Cameron decanonized that ending for this. If this is what he wants, it's still a good trilogy for Sarah Connor. Either way, they shouldn't make more.
People can shit on Salvation as much as they want, but it’s probably the only sequel which tries to do something different with the story and actually shows us the dystopian future which is always talked about in the old movies. Thought Christian Bale played a pretty good grizzled, adult John Connor.
I came back after seeing the movie and listened to the spoiler section. Fun. I really loved this movie. It's the first Terminator I've loved since 2 (not counting Sarah Connors Chronicles). I also would love to see more of MacKenzie Davis's Grace. I loved the Arnold Terminator's story. I was scared of the new Terminator. And Linda fucking Hamilton being intensely Sarah Connors. It just made me happy.
Dark Fate spoilers below. On it's own I thought Dark Fate was a pretty fun action movie, as a sequel to T1 and T2 I thought it was insultingly bad. It literally makes everything they did in the first 2 movies meaningless. Uncle Bob shouldn't have sacrificed himself in T2 since the war essentially happens anyway and he'd have been around to protect John. Hell, they should've have prevented Judgement Day and Skynet at all since we know that humanity at least does eventually triumph over it in the end. I'm especially surprised that Cameron was ok with them killing John since he'd railed against what Alien 3 did for years now.
Dumb take on the fantasy elements in GoT. ASoIaF is already fantasy lite, or as I like to say, fantasy for people who don't like fantasy. Beniof had no reason to downplay the fantasy in a series that wasn't heavily into it. George is the one that had fantasy elements become more prevalent as the series went on, and in GoT it was a dumb idea that lost all relevance because everything about the writing stopped making sense after a certain point. Sure, all the Starks aren't Wargs, but there are teleporters to the East and all parts of Westeros.

Like most accents there is regional and class dialects. I'm sure I've heard Danny Bhoy (the stand up comic) do a bit on it that's well worth a watch. It's a lifetime of work to get it all understood and then demographic shift, increased regional migration and rapid uptake of Americanisms seems to be rubbing the hard edges off most of the distinct accents. Then you have Queensland 🙈🙉🙊

I really don't want Rian Johnson to be the anchor point for the next 40 years of star wars. I dont think someone who has openly talked about how he would see making a movie everyone loves as just as much of a failure as a movie everyone hates and that he aims to divide people right down the middle to be the person who sets the direction going forward. Honestly based off those quotes of his I cant shake the feeling that all of this divisiveness post Last Jedi is almost completely by design on his part
Joker wasn't that great. It was a decent film, but really was not The Joker. The Joker is a match for Batman, not just because he's crazy, but because he's a genius.
Dani was literally flawless of a character vs T3 John who went through an arc of accepting his fate and owning up to becoming a leader. They literally just made Dani another John. I was hoping they would've made her interesting in her own right. But naw. She's uninteresting. Grace definitely had more interest for me. Dani was basically John in T2. Both kind unhelpful and just needing of protection. T3 John had to survive on his own and own up in the end. Great arc.
