Got a slime staff today, didn't realize how rare they are until I searched the wiki

they need sharks.. with FREAKING LAZER BEAMS ON THEIR HEADS

Finally found it, and it's almost exactly how I remembered! Back when yrimir made this, I only had mobile, which wasn't even at hardmode. Anything beyond it came from these sorts of videos, like half a mystery... That made this monster-summoning item even cooler! Without seeing more than the slime staff in a playthrough, this quickly became my favorite item on looks alone. Eventually, I even made something like it irl (long story)! When 1.3 finally released, the acclimation to computer had finished, and I FINALLY got a black lens.. well, I was quite happy, and likely never would have found it so special without this video.

The moment I heard about this item, I almost died from excitement. Then I found out that it's only on the PC version. It has been about a year since that day, still no 1.2.4 for consoles. Sigh.

This video's intro was hilarious. I like everything about this video, actually. Even the info given out was fun. Seeing the optic staff in action is better than reading about it on the wiki!

Yrimir you have helped me with terraria so much I remember me with copper tools and gold tools in about 30 minutes you are the best at terraria keep making videos and I do not mind you not talking the music is amazing as well

How do you get the army of twins

Is it only me who's confused about how he made "Eye Rol"? I first figured eye of cthulu mask and some kind of wings dyed red and invisibility potion. But the EoC mask doesn't look like that and there are no "flesh/blood shiny" wings nor can you take only 30-45 damage from TT with no armor!

I have gotten more slime staffs than black lenses. I'm not kidding.

I think this is how yirimir made the skin he used in this video he somehow made half of his body invisible,he wore the twins mask and he wore the harpy wings and got a dye that will male the wings red :^)

Summoner Items of your choice VS. A large array of bosses, like Duke, Prime, The Destroyer, Golem and Plantera all at once.

I think they should make a staff where you can summon an eyeball you control and you can move the eyeball around so you can see things your character can't normally see, like in PVP you would use this staff to look over hills to see if someone is going to ambush you, etc

Sweet avatar! Assuming Familiar Clothes plus invisibility potions for the body? Personally I prefer using these to the Pygmies and Pirates. Not ran into a Tornado staff yet but until then I'm content for these to be my summon of choice.

I never knew ti was a 1% drop for black lens because I had like 10. The optic staff is cool, I always use it.

One nice thing about the staff is that it's technically 2 minions (The spider staff does about 30 DAM) meaning that you can 'unofficially' have up to 16 minions.

Hey Yrimir I wanted to know if you could do a vs episode of the tempest staff vs Optic staff because with end game summoner items I have more damage from the optic staff then I do from the tempest. I personally think that the optic staff is stronger and if im wrong I'd like you to point out why. (For equality both staffs I have are mythical)
