Terraria: "Incase Expert mode was too easy, we added a MASTER MODE! :)" Me: *has not even managed to beat Terraria once* "yeah bro that's really cool thank you :')))"
I thought you get the loot bag and the especial boss accesories by putting your world Master mode, now i realised that you get them in expert mode, i got really advanced in my Master mode world but now i am stuck
Personally, I find master mode not that much more difficult compared to expert mode. It might have increased health and damage to all enemies, but that 6th accessory slot u get at the beginning is kinda broken lol.
The master mode is not that hard if you play with melee class ( as it has the best defense sets and master mode makes defense even more efficient ). But it's a true pain if you play it with other classes, especially summoner.
Master summoner is pain, but it really forces you to take advantage of every small advantage you can get. I never went out of my way to craft potions other than the basic regen and ironskin but with summoner master and especially summoner ftw I had to pull out all the potions I could get and carefully manage my buffs
Currently doing my first master play through, as well as my first summoner play through and brooo, even eye is a pain. What should I do 😂 I can’t dish out enough damage near the end where eye dodges every few seconds
@@danobannanno147 as a chronic summoner a few random tips that really helped me. always use summoning potions it’s literally just a free extra summon no reason not to, ruthless is the best modifier for most summon weapons, in the early game before you have mobility items try making walls of platforms that you can grapple boost off of, due to how immunity frames work a flinx and Abigail or a finch is usually better than two flinx, if you have multiple whips with summon tags you can hit a boss with one then switch to another to stack the summon tag damage, please please please PLEASE keep your chests organized you will thank me, feral claws applies to whips, with eye and other bosses that like to hide in the ground a hunter potion can be a godsend, frog legs give tons of mobility and i recommend using them until you get better mobility items, Dynamite can quickly make an area fit for farming drops, by fishing in a sky lake you can get fledgling wings even in for the worthy where sky chests are locked, the bunny mount moves at almost exactly the same speed as EoC when he’s charging at you, try killing the servants of cuthulu on the lower section of your arena so if you get low on health you can dip down for a boost, the eye dashes directly at your position so if you jump before it dashes it will dash and you will fall under it. And this is the most important tip, have fun you will die a lot so try building or wiring just something other than grinding or fighting to have fun you can do it!
As someone who started terraria like a month ago and decided it would be a good idea to play master mode I am the guy in the intro and I need this tutorial
Expert rewards : very good items from the bosses Master rewards : A c e s s o r y s l o t (And fuck the pets,statues,mounts and damage reduce from traps)
“As well as some AI changes” Does the boss AI change in Master Mode? I mean I guess it does when you compare it to classic but isn’t it just copiy pasted from Expert?
Thanks for this, i just wanted to know this stuff not walkthroughs/guides. I like challenges but i dont like annoying things like character permanent death or dropping all inventory in a game like this, so master mode looks good but im not a fan of hardcore character setting 😊
oh THANK CTHULU there is no master mode exclusive accessories or gameplay-related items. Like back in the day with expert mode, i would feel FORCED to only play master mode and i would proceed to hate the game and myself for 2 years until i finally got good.
I'm Asking , do I need a hardcore character to stack demon hearts while playing master mode world difficulty or just a mediocore character playing in master mode world?... Do hardcore character can only stack demon hearts and get more accecories?
Me: has never beat terraria, glossed over items, enemies, and bosses abilities(NOT IN MASTER DIFFICULTY). The only thing going for me is my brother gets to die with me (and he’s never even played the game…)
