He ain't wrong though, how do you constantly get injured in baseball when all you do physically is run the bases and stand in the outfield chewing on seeds chasing a fly ball once or twice a game.

⁠@@Zander98I mean that is underselling it a bit. There is a lot more athletic ability than that. Outfield in particular has a lot of running and a chance to really push your body with stuff like diving catches and catching balls above the wall stuff like that. All that being said, Stephen A. is right in that trout has to know who he is. He has to be aware of how much time he’s missed and keep himself in shape and also be aware of how much he gets hurt so he doesn’t make those kind of catches where he flings his body out to nab the ball all the time. Or really ever. They’re the angels not making a diving play and letting a ball fall for a hit instead isn’t going to break anyone’s back the team is still trash.

@@Zander98 yeah, try covering centerfield on an everyday basis with how Trout did. Look at what happened to Ken Griffey Jr once he reached his 30s.

@@Zander98 But he is though. By facts and science, baseball is one of the most reactionary-dependent sports in the world. A lot of the movements in baseball happen suddenly and with extreme intensity for short bursts as opposed to other sports where there's more fluidity in movement. That and the 100000s of hours they put in training and practice before even playing a game. I understand where he's coming from though, if I'd never played organized baseball I'd probably think the same as well. Its the hardest sport to play for a reason.

Trout doesn't play every day though but why let facts get in the way of your stupidity

I've been a high school football player and a good baseball player, and honestly, nobody got hurt on my squad at all during the whole season,& I'm gonna have to agree with SAS ,..I don't understand why Trout stay hurt as much as he does, Baseball isn't as Physical as Football,Boxing or Basketball Ball,..this shit is Ludacris 🤣

Mike Trout isn't a normal, one trick pony, like most baseball players. bottom line is that he's doing more than he should to make up for the teams short comings and he's paying for it. if he played for a team that played for him, he would be playing every game and be exerting alot less energy.

A sprained ankle in basketball is common though especially the fact that there very tall. A baseball player tearing his meniscus is very rare he’ll trout don’t even steal bases anymore

He's pretty awful with any take that isn't NBA and even then it's hit or miss. Majority of the shit he talks about in the NFL is just utterly stupid and you can tell he's not watching the games. Like past 2 years any time he talked about the Dolphins it was always that Tua and the offense does nothing but throw it 3 yards and then have Hill and Waddle run 60 yards for a TD. Like you can have a negative opinion on Tua but acting like all he does is throw it short is utterly stupid when the last two years he's lead the league in YPA and total Air Yards.
