Fun Fact: in the Sequel, the Guy Who knocks the Coffee Mug into The Jack Water bringing Him back, He's literally named "Idiot" in the Credits.

Back in the day my mom rented this from the movie store thinking it was the other Jack Frost movie. One of the funniest things I ever saw was her reaction when she put it in the vcr for our movie night lmao I loved it.

This movie also caused problems in video rental stores at the time because of another movie called Jack Frost was released a year later which had the same premise of a man turning into a snowman. Except this time it's a family friendly comedy starring Michael Keaton. There's no telling how many families with little kids settled down for a christmassy comedy to discover they put in the way wrong video tape.

If you noticed the position of the carrot when it floated up in the bathtub and its location in proximity to a certain area and the fact that nose was missing when Jack was "slamming her head against the wall" where did the carrot go and why was Jack "thrusting" her into the wall the way he was, context clues 🤔

Everyday, i know that there is a slim chance that people ruin everything will come back

For anyone wondering the reason jack died to a banana is because when he and sheriff were rolling around in the antifreeze, the sheriff had open wounds and some of his blood mixed with the antifreeze, and jack inherited the sheriff's banana allergy.

Should someone tell Elvis that Shannon Elizabeth didn't have a soft skull in the first movie, she was snowman raped to death? Or should we let him stay blissfully unaware?

As a kid, I was deathly terrified of the dvd cover of this on the blockbuster shelves. Eventually after years of being terrified of the cover, when I was 8, my dad rented it and my dad, my friend and I all sat down to watch it and for whatever reason I thought the sequel in particular was the scariest film ever. My friend had to let me know when the snowman was off the screen as I hid under a cover. This movie will always be memorable to me for this reason.

Im glad to see I wasn't the only kid whose mom thought they were renting the Michael Keaton version. My mom hated it, but my dad and I love cheesy horror movies. Miss you everyday mom

Here's a fun fact: the guy at 18:11 is played by Doug Jones, who's a prolific creature actor known for his roles as Fauno/The Pale Man from "Pan's Labyrinth," Abe from the "Hellboy" movies, and so on. This was one of the few films that he acted in without any prosthetics.

So am I the only one who is going to mention that the kid was making cookies with antifreeze, which is incredibly toxic if ingested, and gave it to his father?

the voice over jokes in jack frost get me, like when the teenager is decapitated and the parents fight, the cop dad says "your son is 2 feet taller than mine" and in be background all you hear quietly is "not anymore" and i just crack up

How is it that the snowman in the Michael Keaton family film that came out a year later looks legitimately more frightening than the one in the horror comedy!? They should've stuck with the skull face on the cover (for years since I was a kid, I used to think that the movie was about the mythical Jack Frost and was confused when people called it a "killer snowman movie"). I also found out a few years ago that the VHS cover was a lenticular cover that shows an innocent looking snowman transforming into an evil version and then the skull face.

Respect to Elvis for going through all of this jolly pain just for our entertainment.

OMG, the guy in the carrot fight from Jack Frost 2 is world famous character actor and lanky man that probably has too many joints or possibly no joints at all, Doug Jones! Doug Jones is amazing. Everyone would know him more for the characters he's played under heavy special effects makeup like Saru from Start Trek: Discovery, the Amphibian man from The Shape of Water, Abe Sapien from Hellboy 1 & 2, the Fauno in Pan's Labyrinth, Billy the zombie in Hocus Pocus, and last but not least - the By Bye Man from the Bye Bye Man.

There are two explanation for that shower scene: They were actually intended to be screwing for edgy 90s humor but they decided it wasn’t advertiser friendly enough even though it’s an r rated movie Or the actors were having a little fun and their coworkers didn’t want them to get fired or blacklisted or anything so they made it into a murder scene Call me a pervert but there’s no way that wasn’t supposed to be sex

Sad Fact: They were going to make another movie, but the main actor, who played the Sheriff, died. They didn't want to do it without him so they scrapped it and left the series as is. He also died in an avalanche so i can see them not being enthusiastic about filming another movie about snow that kills people.

The bath tub scene was actually just intended to be jackfrost slamming her head in the wall. But it looks like he was doing something gross to her. The director was too lazy to reshoot that scene so he just went with it-...🤦🏾‍♀️

Hahaha snowballs! I remember watching these after I found them through a RU-vid video. Then I found the second one. I like the first one more. It depends really. Some shows have kids using another kid's surname if they aren't friends or a romantic interest. Best example I can give is the prequel episode for code lyoko. Until the group discovered the super computer. They only called each other by last name until they realize the threat Xana poses. That's at least one I know of.

I don't think you understand what happened in the bathtub scene of the first movie. The carrot emerged from the water, signifying its presence, but throughout the whole scene, it's not on his face

Elvis thinking the bathtub scene was Jack just "murdering" her. "Why is he just slamming her head gently against the wall?" Everyones else *coughs* Should we tell him? XD. Probably legit one of the reasons why it was scored so low, it tried to make a joke out of a R/Murder scene.
