tesa® ProSeal is an adhesive tape applicator consisting of the double-stamp application head and a standardized cartridge. It has been designed for hole cover patches for car bodies, replacing the classic plugs manually inserted.
Traditionally, automakers manually insert resin plugs into holes. tesa® ProSeal is the most advanced automation technology that fully automates this process.
We designed a standard cartridge to fit all of our hole cover patches. This increases the flexibility in the tape application process. And as the robot can change within 10 seconds the cartridge, it optimizes the material use.
Used cartridges are shipped back to tesa. And refilled with new patches. This minimizes the packaging material and reduces the liner waste at the customer.
