What did you do on your suspension? Did you do lowering springs? If so, what spring did you use and how much dropped compare to stock one? I love to do that, its so looking good. Cause i dont want to make it too low. Plz give me some information for my m3p. Thanks

I did jist the brakes, suspension is stock, I’m not planning any lowering, the car if from my point of view too low already. I was destroying OEM flaps in every compression on the Ring, so I had to buy new set of mud flaps and trim them by 2,5cm (1 inch) to avoid scratching the ground in compressions.

Very nice Video Pavel, the battery is even more limited this time due to higher outside temperatures. The brakes look very nice btw 👍

Thanks Mike, from battery temperature point of view there is still a few degrees left below 60deg C limit at the end of the lap. The brakes not just look nice, they are amazing, instant stopping power from any speed multiple laps without any issue. The best upgrade I could do.

@@nomansland120 yes, he should, but his publication queue seems to be a bit longer. The brakes did perfect job, however there is still some room for improvements in the battery management area. The limits for power consumption seems to be a bit more strict than it’s needed at Nordschleife. I hope Tesla engineers will see the video and address the wish I made there. 😉

From what I’ve been told the brake temp is only ”estimated” not actual. I got mine into the red on a short handling track in Australia but the brakes were still good. Motor and battery were okay. I have a YT video if you look make up.

@@JonNewell yes, brake temps are only estimated, you can verify that by checking the column’s headings in the CSV with telemetry recorded with laps in the Track mode. The headings are saying “est.”

what is your state of charge when starting the lap? 90% +? I find the power drops off quite a lot under 70%. Awesome brakes, if funds permit, i might look at those!

SOC is displayed just below the speed meter in the dashboard, started the lap with 94%, finished with 66%. The available power is displayed as max discharge in bottom right corner.

Thank you for sharing your experience. How did the brakes feel? On the display, the new brakes were very quickly in the critical range (orange/red). Did you have the same impression when braking?

The brakes were feeling whole lap just fine. We have discussed in the video that the bars and master brakes warning is calculated as estimated value from brake pedal pressure and time of use. So with BBK will always show red/warning, but the brakes are nominal. You will see the same in Misha's video, he didn't had any complaints about the brakes.

👍 Which app is this? Looks great. You connect it to a bluetooth OBDII dongle with a cable to the CAN diagnostic port?

@@M-TRON S3XY Buttons app from Enhance, you connect their Commander box to OBD port in passenger’s footwell area and since then it’s Bluetooth or WiFi. Their Commander works also as an OBD server for other apps, ie. ScanMyTesla, etc. From my point of view it’s must have Tesla accessory for any geek.

Damn yellow flags, but looks like changing the stock brakes to the BBK is the mandatory upgrade for track usage. Looking forward for Misha lap, still curious if the battery/engine would overheat and limit the power

Great movie, congratulations. I'm waiting for my third performer and I'll probably use your store :). I am very curious how LG batteries (Europe) compare to Panasonic batteries, whether they are really much worse. I would also like to know what application you use on your phone!!!

It’s S3XY Buttons app from Enhance, you will need at least their Commander box connected to car’s OBD port. Regarding Panasonic battery pack, I would be curious to get side by side comparison, but until somebody will provide some data from a track in US my speculation is that the difference will be not so big as we might think. Physics is physics and although Panasonic pack is better with probably less internal resistance, the amount of amps pumped out of the battery on 400V will be very similar, therefore the heat losses will heat the battery as well. Wheather Panasonic will do for example two more minutes or there will be just a 30sec. difference as of when the power limit will kick in, that’s an open question. But I don’t believe the difference will be huge. US version has 50hp more, so it’s posible that higher power will actually make the difference zero when compared side to side on a thack with BBKs installed.

Sad to see that even with regen off, a full lap at full power is far from being achievable... You spent half the lap under yellow flag and temperature still reached 56C...US version is only marginally better...

Braided lines were delivered with the kit, but after comparing with the factory ones, we have decided at the end to keep the factory lines. They fit perfectly together with the XYZ callipers and they are braided under the rubber sealing as well to handle the 100+ bars of the brake pressure. Regarding the price you can check on my friend's eshop - tesla.xyz-racing.cz/ The full set with fronts, rears, pads, AP Racing brake fluid and shipping within EU is €6990 including VAT. For the delivery outside of EU to rest of the world (US, Canada, Australia, etc.) would be the best to contact your local XYZ Racing dealer.

Neřeším ve videu cenu pneu, ale běžné pneu na silnici (samozřejmě prémiové) vs. semi-slicky (např. Falken Azenis RT660 nebo Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 R). A vzhledem k tomu, že jde stále primárně o rodinný vůz, tak zůstanu jen u "normálních" pneu, např. Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S. Ty Pirelli P-Zero mě moc o svých kvalitách nepřesvědčili, grip je po 11.000km znatelně horší a na vodě nejsou nic moc.
