The model 3 performance is gradually becoming the Roadster in my opinion

When i test drove a Highland, what i was blown away by was how much quieter it is compared to the pre-refresh. The dual paned windows, and the added support in the lower door sill really quiet the cabin down.

The only people who dislike EV’s (especially a Tesla) have never driven one. This car is sick! 🔥

I picked up my 2024 M3P about 5 days ago as a replacement for my 2018 M3P with about 55K mileage. I was happy with my older car but this one is much superior. Much quieter, better seats, better fit and finish, way better ride and, apparently, in insane mode, faster too. Thanks to Sofyan for explaining the acceleration differences among these driving modes. I need to test this out myself. By the way, my doors make a nice clunk when they close - a reassuring sound of high quality when I am inside. Tesla gave me a fair price for my older M3P too, a pleasant surprise. It turns out I bought a white on white, just like the one pictured and I've already gotten comments on its attractiveness, but I already knew I would since it replaces one just like it. I leased mine, and there is a clear indication that I received the $7500 rebate on the leasing forms. What can I say? Even though the interior is simple, it even looks sharper than the one I had with no fingerprints in the center console, a refined dash and even a couple of USB-C ports along with the hidden sentry mode outlet in the glove box. I must admit, however, that I am still working on the turn signal indicators being on the steering wheel and shifting on the screen. I have a lot of years of muscle memory to erase there!

I love gas drinking cars but I'm in once the Model Y is refreshed.

Kids definitely fit in there though. When I get mine I’ll throw my nieces and nephews in there to test it out 😂😂😂

The value in the Model 3 is wild! Love all the improvements they’ve made this year too.

What I found this generation since I’ve gone benchmarking, is notice that the soft touch material is much thinner this gen. But that’s redistributed to more parts of the cabin. So they sacrifice some of it to get more of it on surfaces. And compared to the model S/ X, the plastic holding the materials together underneath is thicker and less hallow, so it is technically more premium than a model S by material build. Just some fun interesting things most people wouldn’t notice.

New model 3 range is calculated using the newer EPA cycle, so range is probably better than before

I have the 2024 standard model 3 , and after about a month and a half of having it, I'll say I'm very pleased with it so far. It's my very first EV as well. Also congratulations on 1m subs, I've been watching y'all for the past 11 years now and y'all came a very long way.

My paren'ts Model3 AWD refresh costs about $30 a month to charge. Previously, they spent about $150-200 a month on gas. Nobody talks about how cheap they're to drive if you can charge at home/apartment.

Removing stalks is akin to Honda removing volume knob. Bad idea. Especially for a brand trying to homologate ev and assimilate ice buyers into the fold. Big miss. Not to mention the pure safety aspects. That muscle memory you speak of… seconds matter on the road. Bring the stalks back Tesla. At least the turn signal. What were you thinking 🤦🏻‍♂️

Just a small correction. Yes before the Old Performance was 310 miles of range but that was based on the OLD EPA estimate. The new 2024 Performance is 303 Miles but using the NEW EPA estimate. The new estimate is considerably more strict.

You know what’s crazy ? These are $55k, and if you go on Kelly Blue Book, trade in a for a 2023 M3P, with 8,000 miles, is $33,115!!!! That’s over $20,000 of depreciation in 1 year.

On the right side of steering wheel next to the wiper icon that button is not for Sentry mode it's to bring up your side and rear cameras. I know as I have the refreshed M3 LR. I love my car Great content as usual 😊

It would be perfect if...... 1. My driver seat wasn't loose 2. The gasket around the doors didn't leak air from everywhere 3. My screen actually worked and didn't just go black about 4x a week 4. My range didn't reduce by 20 miles after only 1 year 5. My car had connection and the subscription to music actually worked (lose connection almost daily) 6. The trunk wasn't misaligned (idk how that happened, out of nowhere It just didn't close right) 7. I didn't need new tires every year 8. I didn't need a new alignment every time I hit a dip. There's more but I'm tired....

18:29 That's not called 360 camera, it's only 180. Tesla never has a 360 camera, even on CyberTruck it's still missing the front blind spots. 19:52 The reason why people need CarPlay is using 3rd party nav apps (Waze?) + offline Apple Music albums + other 3rd party apps.

The 2025 Ioniq 5N was ~26 seconds faster then a Tesla Model S Plaid up PIKES PEAK June 23, 2024 in the production class...its not just the speed, but the "cooling system" for the batteries is the hardest tech to get right inside a vehicle. The Teslas do 99% of regular consumers want. That is a great thing. The Ioniq 5N is a different breed and engineered by Albert Bierman. Also by 2025 Q1, the Ioniq 5N will incorporate NACS, so it can use Tesla Super Chargers.

Supercruise can only be used on pre-mapped highways, FSD can be used everywhere, even in the middle of a busy city.

I’ve always been a Model 3 fan from afar. I really like what Kia/Hyundai is doing in the EV space but I’ve always like the well roundedness of the Model 3. Plus, it doesn’t stand out anymore and blends into the background. An EV doesn’t fit into my life at the moment but when it does, the Model 3 will be at the top of my list.

Comparing a tesla to an M3 is crazy. The tesla cannot handle a track like an M3. This must be the first time these nerds ever drove a decently fast car and now think they are king of the road.

I was gonna wait for this but I got the 2024 Tesla model Y performance instead. It’s a little slower but I like the trunk space. Good for family groceries. But I do love the wheel more on the new model 3 performance. Looks sick!

Seems awesome! I really enjoy your reviews. Would like to hear more about the comfort, feel in the seats, ride noise etc. You do mention that stuff but only for like 2 secs. I can see you love talking about 0-60 times and speed but not very important at this point in the EV market.

At what point are the screens LARGE enough?

Every owner I know bought a Tesla DESPITE the interior. They just wish it had actual buttons. Too bad the redesign stayed with this approach when other manufacturers have realized customers don’t actually LIKE these kinds of interiors.

Sooooo Sofyan calm down 15 inches of screen is wonderful. It’s not necessary to have 47 inches of screen. Even engineers are saying the giant screens days are numbered, literally a jeep and a bmw engineer said that recently. 😅

FSD is not comparable to blue cruise, super cruise, etc. Don’t disrespect FSD like that. It is in a different universe.

The older models technically were rated for higher range figures but that is only because the method of testing and coming up with the numbers was different. This new one will 100% get better range. Teslas old figures use to be very optimisitc.

Did they redesign the hood where you can slam it shut now? I cringed a little because if I did that it would dent the heck out of the thin hood on the first gen Model 3/Y

the day they give some physical buttons for ac and music along with a separate driving screen i may consider … oo not to forget a gas engine range extender 😛. still not sold on all ev… will go for hybrid anyday.

I have a Model Y rental car from Avis and to be honest the interior is kind of very cheap. The supercharger is the game changer though. I have tried an Mercedes EQE and that car is way better quality that this Model Y. But charging the EQE at Electrify America was terrible compared to the Tesla charger. Would like to try one of these updated Model 3's for sure.

FSD utilizes AI technology and obtains crowdsourcing data through the individual cameras from the millions of other Teslas driving on the road. It will only get better through future firmware updates. GM’s Supercruise uses a map based system and will not adapt to road conditions like FSD does. In addition, SuperCruise cannot be enabled for surface street driving.

It’s shaped like the new Prius from the side and it’s very odd that that’s not a terrible thing. Prius has come a long way.

As a fellow gay car geek, I love your channel, but idk what was going on with all of the misinformed negative comments. Honest comments are appreciated but it more sounded like you were still Tesla hating and being a Ford fanboy. For instance, the comments about FSD. It’s currently on 12.3.6 but 12.4.2 is right around the corner and that will be the one and only ADAS available that will be completely hands free on all roads. Also there is no “new blind spot camera.” The repeaters have been there for years and the pop up view since a little over a year ago. The whole review seemed so misinformed and misleading on key features. Like it was the I’m a airhead twink that walks into a car dealership and says that’s pretty, I’ll take that car. It was those vibes. I hold you to a much higher standard because your reviews have historically been some of the very best.

Certainly cool, but I own a 2020 P3 and I just wasnt enticed enough to upgrade. If we can do 2.5 or perhaps get a HP unlock with this model, then maybe I'll be a bit more enticed.
