You should do a similar analysis on Enphase / Solar Edge as well. Having your background of energy engineering space, I think you might bring in an interesting perspective
Can you do an analysis like this on crypto stocks like Coinbase or bitcoin miners? Would be interesting to see how you predict them coming out of the bear market and future performance compared to the previous bull market

nice analysis. But there is an important aspect to this you don't talk about. company fundamentals. - high delivery/production growth YoY every year. will be lower in 24 & 25 but still growth - a rapidly growing battery storage business. Lathrop facility in CA pumping out a lot of megapacks and is expanding facility. Shanghai facility broke ground to copy Lathrop production lines. - continued expansion of production facilities. shanghai expansion in the works, berlin exp in the works, mexico breaking ground, austin continued expansion, - SEMI going into actual production. (not the trickle we've had so far). nevada semi expansion just broke ground - cybertruck ramp to 250k yearly run rate. important for revenue as the truck market is a very profitable sector - next gen vehicle to start production in late 2025 early 2026. this is the car they can sell 4m+ a year of globally. (smaller car not popular in the US but VERY popular everywhere else. - as long as the above all get executed, there is upside to the stock price. (excluding the macro economy) ------ - robotics is a major unknown but extremely promising. Even more so than FSD. unlike FSD that has a million edge cases, a robot can be trained to do repetitive stuff and would be immensely useful. their progress in going from no robotics team to a 3rd version iteration in 18 months is astonishing. - full self driving is still not a reality even tho it has gotten pretty good. (i have it, its pretty good but annoyingly not great). v12 is supposed to be groundbreaking but pessimistically will have similar bottlenecks that v11 did. bizarre edge cases making human intervention required will continue to plague FSD for who knows how long. I don't anticipate this having a major financial influence any time soon. BUT, a breakthru could happen which totally changes the game. Most of the above has to be executed well for any decent move to the upside to even have the possibility of occurring. So far, they have been executing really well on the first group of growth factors. Those last 2 being the wildcards that could send the stock soaring but are not guarantees.

Yeah I was gonna put predicting in quotes.. When 1Million+ people are aware of something (-77% video) chances that the trade gets front ran increase dramatically. I personally trade daily, so my biases change weekly

Upside downside is herd mentality.it's emotion and narrative. How do you value a company though? That's how you know if something is overvalued or undervalued
Personally Opinion. Im very optimistic for Tesla future, Optimistic for the economy but 2024 is going to be a rough year. Even in a stable to good economy, Tesla will will have less growth than previous years and for a growth stock that is not good. Im holding but really my outlook is that we wont see a 275+ tesla stil mid 2025 at earlist. But this gives me time to add bit by bit to my telsa stake as well as others. I say that but if I see a 160 's tesla im definately hard adding to my stake. Paid off all my mortgage debt this month just so I would be ready for this outcoom.
I’ll tell you as an owner, as someone who has been harmed by their price drops, having owned one of the newer Model S’… it’s a great car, but I’ll think twice before I buy another car from them. Their tech is amazing, but their mechanical engineering is highly dubious. I think they’re in a very vulnerable position when it comes to someone actually taking their crown as the EV king.
Isn't the tech getting worse? Removal of all sensors except 720p cameras i heard. That smacks of cost cutting and hangs their hat solely on their AI, so it had better work!
Tesla is tremendously associated with Elon Musk. His instability has had a tremendous impact on the stock price. How the stock does going forward has the added uncertainties that come from being extremely associated with one increasingly erratic individual. The potential swings may be greater than what your normal criteria would suggest.
You have to look at the business model, not just the technicals. Cisco looked great too until competition came in and they lost their exclusive leadership position. Long run Tesla is a mid 30's stock as the EV race to the bottom in pricing continues. It's a car company and deserves similar multiples.
I don't understand how Ben, an engineer, can somehow see a future in this stock. The amount of lies Elon has told about this company is incredible and should worry any investor. Robotaxi, revolutionizing battery tech, semi truck, ect. This is the problem when you only look at the charts and dont question the fundamentals of this car company. Telsa is and will remain a sell. Unless you're a gambling trader.
I think this “bull market” is a bear market….for the last two years…..and now, and you, have no idea if it can continue irregularly in bull mode. Its the most ever confused market in history…… AI will fix this…. 😂
