My goal is practicing my Tai Chi form - so no sharp weapon, no real cut - although I would appreciate this experience to understand my jian much better - but: reason and safety first. So, a lot of respect for your skills to handle your sword so precise an save. I've learned a lot from your videos also from the historical context and I think that I incorporated the one or the other hint to make my form better. But there is a general thing making me crazy cause I couldn't find serious informations: attacking or counteratacking with cutting, thrusting, carving etc.theoretically everything makes sense - but there are no instructions how to deliver this facing an opponent. (Not for fighting, causes I can't face blood and I don't want it, but to make my form clearer) I think my general question is - how to do all this things accurate without getting stuck with my jian in my imagined opponent. e.g : your cutting goes popperly though the bamboo by hitting it approximately with 1/4 of your blade- but the human body is more complex so you could face more things in your way. Trying to hit further more the core: What should happen exactly in this part of a second when your jian comes in, hits an has to get out of that hell safely. I'm aware that there is no short answer, but perhaps my comment could be a little inspiration for some further videos. I love my fellow Tai Chi girls and boys - it's my home base, but I'm sure that your expertise could help many of us understanding more properly, what we should do in our form and better not.

Laoshi, is it possible to make a video on making our own cutting stand like the one you used in this video?
