I had a '79 as a kid (1984) that had this same paint scheme and those rally-type mirrors and wheels. Inside, though, it was different in that I had the vinyl bucket seats and manual windows. It also had a floor-mounted shifter, with the odd characteristic of the indicator still being in the cluster instead of along the lever's channel (eventually, the indicator broke, showing the transmission to always be in Park.) It was a strong car, though.

Man that's a nice MC..its 1 that I like because you don't see them everyday at the shows or cruises..and that's what I like about the more rare old school cars. Real nice for the price. Need to check out your walk around. Would be a nice gift to myself😂

I don’t recall one. The 8 foot stepsides have a distinction. I recall a dark green 76 Chevy 1/2 ton 6 banger with automatic and power steering with a LWB stepside being loaded with red oak firewood. Filled to top of cab with home made temporary side boards . A full cord of hard wood on a 1/2 ton with overloads level with the road. Delivered to some folks in need way up a holler . The creek was part of the county road system back then. We broke the thick ice crawling up that holler in the dead of winter. I was a lad not yet in school. Working for my Father . Paid 10 cents a hour. Memories memories.
