they’re hard to find because they’re so valuable. they’re valuable because there weren’t many made but also it’s one of the most bulletproof cars ever made. everything about it is great and strong.

I just bought a 2011 tl and I love it 4 gen are the best tl to me simply amazing

reason being for the notchier feeling with the V6 Accords and TL's is because the design of the trans is shift by cable rather than regular forks

totally upset that acura decided to get rid of manuals completely now

i just installed a Takeda Short Ram Air Intake on my 2012, and omg the sound it makes it amazing.

I just bought the 2012 version of this car, and I absolutely love it! I'm still getting used to it though, because it's my first manual car. I traded in my 2007 TL base towards it, and it's a night and day difference.

3800lbs is not too bad considering how bloated it looks. I'd love one of these with a supercharger.

The last TL is my favorite Acura sedan ever.

I like my 6spd TL SHAWD any day but the best feel happens on a curve at 100mph and rides like its on rails.

I love the 07 08 type s but this one is rare and under appreciated.

The 6 speeds had a 3rd gear synchro issue, fixed by replacing the 3rd gear set. The chattering on the automatic was also fixed by a pcm software update.

I wish i got the sh-awd one I feel like I settled for the front wheel drive now nine months later I'm regretting it

Awesome review! I owned a 2010 V6 SH-AWD for 4 years and enjoyed every kilometer! Its a beast of a car and gives great bang for the buck! Im heading towards the new TLX V6 SH-AWD, but of course disapointed to lose my quad pipes (hell, all pipes) and lowered performance specs... but hey, im not a merc or bwm fan... q50, meh... Was great seeing you give your opinion and seeing same conclusions as I had... I would recommend to anyone on the used market for sure! awesome car (just a gas guzzler for sure)! anyways, great reviews amigo! youre talented! keep going!

I have a 4G 6MT and I am plagued by the delay valve that prevents the clutch engaging. This car has been modified! PLEASE...can you tell us if you changed the slave or master cylinder? Plate? Clutch?

The 2004 and 2005 TLs came with the six speed manual option.

Holy bug damage on the front bumper. I weep.

These 6MTs had a huge problem where they jumped out of gear. People had to use a whole different fluid to correct the issue and Acura still hasn't admitted fault. That and the 5AT with the TC chatter. Not sold on Acuras anymore, they used to be awesome especially with the 3G TL but I really don't know where they're headed.

Looks aside, which of course is subjective, this HAS to be the best car Acura has ever produced. In terms of performance, specs, technology and overall road feel. As an ex Honda/Acura salesman in CA, I know people (still) are loyal to the prev generation of TL, but the interior looks and feels very plasticky and kinda like a warmed-over Accord. ESPECIALLY as compared to this Generation. I just wish Acura would build another 2 door, RSX replacement with a 6-spd Manual and an screaming 4 cylinder to tear up Hwy 17 on the way to Santa Cruz from the valley.... ;)
