Pontiac Torrents are great vehicles! I had a lot of fun test driving this as I do all of the vehicles for my channel. Please like, comment and subscribe!
My mother has one and we found out that the frame rails were completely rusted through in the very front. The rest was fine. Left front rails are impossible to find so we had to have both sides fabricated by a body shop. Beware.
I recently had my 2006 Pontiac Torrent painted. I decided to keep it with its original color (black) and it brought back its beauty. It has almost 106K miles and I intend to keep it for as long as it runs. I sure miss Pontiac.
ELIJAH HINES Yes,Yes, and kind of. My only complaint is the back trunk. When it’s closed, it looks like it’s still a little open even though it’s locked shut. Other than that, it’s the perfect first car 🤟
This was my first car; my Dad owned one of these. I learned how to drive in one of these back in 2014, and went to college and my first job. Sadly it died in a car accident Oct 2019, right before Covid. I am currently driving a 2010 GMC Terrain. Hoping to upgrade next year.
I wish Pontiac wouldn't have gone out of business. I love the style, engineering, and overall feel of their vehicles. I am glad that you love your vehicle and I appreciate you watching my video! Thank you! Subscribe! I have a bunch of other videos! Check em out!
I drive a equinox sadly which is equivalent to this and wish I never got it. Has horrible steering it’s like casting a boat and hoping it goes where you pointed it. Almost impossible to parallel park it. A lot of blind spots. And has a lot of road noise on the interstate. And had to replace the motor once due to the timing chain breaking. I would recommend people to steer clear of these if you value your money.
I watched a video made by a mechanic who said change oil more frequently and make sure the oil level is always on full to prevent timing chain failure.
Chevy is garbage anyway. There's no comparing Chevy to Pontiac. How Chevy survived and Pontiac didn't remains a mystery to me. Pontiac engines are workhorses and there are Pontiacs out there with over 500k miles on them. Chevy Equinox and Terrain have the same problems as the GMC Terrain and Acadia. Dodge Journey is another POS. All have terrible engines. Next time you have to change your motor, you should buy a rebuilt Pontiac 3.8L V6 engine for it 🥴
